I took a sewing needle and let it sit underneath hot water.
I felt it heat up underneath my thumb and index finger.
My body hummed and tingled from head to toe; I was numb.
I turned the water off and smoothly made three small gashes on the skin of my wrist.
I eagerly licked the blood off of my needle and slipped it away into my backpack.
I look down my wrist, my mind free of negative thoughts.
No one else can get hurt if I hurt only myself.
I don't have to fight back anymore.
I was going to pay Stacey a visit after school.
I knew what was going to come, because Benjamin wasn't going to be there for me anymore.
