Benjamin,

your mom said that my arms looked a little fat in the white blouse I was wearing.
I only gave her a half-hearted smile, thinking that she was only joking.
Your dad also told me to maybe lay off on the push-ups because you all know that I exercise to retain my strength and balance for cheerleading.
And when you came back from the bathroom, they both went back to laughing and sparked up a different kind of conversation.

Are my arms really that fat?
They acted as if like I had the arms of a gorilla, in which I found slightly offensive.
Then again, your parents could have been only saying that stuff to me as a joke.
