"If we could get them both, Zola, imagine the power we'd have!" Zola winced once Schmidt raised his voice.

"How, sir, might we do that?" They'd had already caught the boy, and all the correct tests proved positive and negative as they needed.

"The other one will come to us unwillingly."

It took Steve weeks to find them. Every time he started a new search either too many men were captured or died, or they had been moved.

Steve ran as fast as he could when he saw Zola scramble out of a room, papers flying behind him.

He went in, and the sight he saw made him want to puke.

You were tied down, bruised, battered and barely clothed. (Not that it mattered he'd seen you in less.)

"Y/N! Y/N, wake up, please!" Steve begged quietly as he shook her. "Steve?"

"Yeah, yeah, it's me doll." Your shirt was nothing but ash now, and only a thick strip of cloth kept you less exposed. "You're buff.." She squeaked, almost screaming as Steve lifted her. She was weak. Too weak.

"I know. You were there."

"I was? How?"

"Not sure. Is anyone else here?"

"I - I think my brothers here. I don't remember," She couldn't remember his transformation. Had she hit her head?

"Sleep, just sleep. I'm gonna get you and Bucky out of here in no time."

"Mmk.." Steve sighed. "Keep breathing for me."

Steve had gotten Bucky out easily, and he cried when he saw his sister's condition. "I'm so sorry, so sorry." He kept murmuring, moving her hair out of her face.

Bucky asked about Steve's bigger form as well, and Steve answered most of his questions.

He also noticed how Bucky could barely walk in a straight line.

"There's a helicopter on the roof, I'm taking you two up there and they will take you back to camp." Bucky said nothing, and watched his sister barely breathing.

"You're coming back, right? To camp?"

"In a few days, Buck." Bucky sighed. "They did something to us, Steve. Before you got here I couldn't remember my own name. You gotta figure it out before it bites us in the ass."

"I got you guys. I won't let anything or anyone hurt you."

"I'm not so sure you can keep us from that, Steve."
