"Steve, she is a threat."

The man in question scoffed, throwing his hands in the air. "Who isn't a threat to you, Tony?"

"Anyone unfamiliar and you know that, Flag Boy." Steve wasn't outraged because of the insanely ordinary nickname, but because Tony knew what it was like to feel broken. He knew. Y/N was designed to kill. But that didn't mean that's what she had to do.

"Listen, she's just like her brother. She's just remembering things slower. She's not killing anymore, but if you trigger her, she will. Keep your distance, Tony. Or I won't be the one she's after." Steve turned as Tony was going to speak, dismissing the conversation.

Steve's habit of over thinking took over his mind, the possibilities of what Tony might do to try and get her to lose control again.

"Bucky! Hey," James turned around and walked toward Steve with a angry/cautious look on his face.

"I swear to god, if you and Tony are planning on taking her away from me, again. I swear you will not see the light of day til' I get her back."

"Buck, I'm trying to keep her here. I don't know what Tony's planning but he's not your problem. He's mine." Bucky cut his eyes at his friend. "Okay."

"Where is she?"

"She's asleep. In your room." Steve frowned. "In my room?"

"It's the only place she could really calm down." Steve smiled. I calmed her down. "Don't get too giddy, she's still really fragile, so just..give her a little space if she asks for it."

"Yeah."

...

"I have the girl."

"Oh?" The voice was dark, the accent thick, sending chills down his spine.

"I have her and her brother in my sights. What you like me to do?"

"Kill the boy, bring me the girl."
