Y/N's P.O.V.~Location Unknown.
Where the hell am I?
Everything ached. Head, Chest, Stomach, Legs. Everything.
I opened my eyes and looked around the bleach white room.
What the hell is this?
I tried to lift my arms, but my right was a ton heavier than my left, and couldn't feel anything past my shoulder.
What happened?
When I finally resisted the ache enough to lift my hands, the only feelings that surfaced besides confusion, were awe and utter shock.
I had a metal hand.
There were men who came up to me, raising the back of whatever I lay on, and I stayed still-Unsure of what they were doing to me.
"Sargent Barnes, Welcome to your new home." I still said nothing, fascinated by my new surroundings.
When were my memories going to come back?
"Sargent, I'd like you to repeat a few phrases for me, and then answer and ask a few questions." The small man's accent was thick. Swiss, I think.
"Okay." My voice was raspy, and unfamiliar.
"Alright. Sargent, do you know your full name?" I frowned once the words couldn't come straight to my mind.
"Barnes. I remember that."
What was my name?
"Alright. Good. Do you remember the year you were born?"
1917.
"1917, I think, sir." I sighed, wanting to bang my head on the walk until I could remember my damn name.
"Do you remember what happened, Y/N?"
"Steve, Help!"
My hands burned. My skin was freezing, and I was growing weaker by the second.
I saw the large mountain of snow we were going toward, and I looked to my brother.
"Bucky, I-" Before I could finish my sentence, my hands slipped and the next thing I knew I was falling.
"Ms.Barnes?"
"Where's my brother?"
James Buchanan Barnes.
"Do not worry, He was captured as he fell as well."
Thank God it's me, not you.
"No," I sighed, resting my left arm on my burning forehead. "It wasn't supposed to be him. Only me."
"I apologise, Ms.Barnes. But it's time for your wiping." The small man shook his head. "Bring her to her twin first."
They semi-carefully lifted me up, and I groaned. "You could be a bit gentler." Neither of the masked figures spoke and I mentally rolled my eyes. My head ached too much for that.
"Five minutes." I hung onto the doorframe, watching as the doctors worked around Bucky.
I watched from a far as his arms lifted also, and as the doctors crowded around him, he began to knock them out with his arm.
"Bucky, stop." I wheezed, taking unbalanced steps toward his bed. Just as he was going to sock me too, he stopped. "Y-Y/N?"
"Yeah. Yeah, it's me." I put my left hand on his cheek, and sighed in relief as I realised this was not, in fact, a dream.
"You're alive. I thought-I thought we were gone."
"Thank god we're not."
"I hate to break up moments like this, but it's time for your wiping." I paid no attention to the man speaking, only staring at Bucky to make sure he was okay. "Come with me, Miss."
They yanked my shirt back and I yelped, Bucky screaming for them to let me go.
But I had a feeling they wouldn't.
Screams ripped through my body, as shocks pierced my mind.
I could feel the blood rushing down my face, and my arms bruising from the restraints holding me down.
Where was I?
The pain continued and I kept screaming, not noticing Bucky standing in the far corner watching.
What happened?
The shocking stopped, and my entire body went limp. The restraints released and I looked up.
"Where am I?"
"Sargent Barnes, Welcome to your new home."
