Hi guys. Let me explain to you about Kana, if you don't get my character. Yes, she's weak and yes, she's a princess. But in her land, everything is different. Their leader isn't the strongest in their land like the hokage. It's being passed down to someone who has royal blood, and someone who's royal in their land shouldn't even lift a single finger. I just want to say that I wanted Kana, my character, to be like that, so it's different for a change. All the fan fictions of Kakashi love stories that I've read so far are all the ladies are power houses from the very beginning. But I want to show how Kana, the shy, unconfident princess, that was such a weakling from the beginning to become an excellent kunoichi in the end. She also shows human weaknesses or insecurities, and Kana obviously has a lot of them. She also shows how people tries so hard just to become perfect (just like Kakashi when he was younger). Kana shows how to overcome that. Anyway, you can now enjoy the chapter four:
Chapter four
The makings of a great kunoichi
Plok!
Another fish was escaped from Kana's grasp and it happily jumped back into the water with a splash. Kana let out a loud groan as she watched the fish swim away. "Damn it!" She yelled as she looked at the sky. The sun was glistening off the water and the soft, warm breeze was coursing her skin. They were at the river trying to catch fish for their meal for the day and at the same time Kana was practicing her speed by catching the fish and chakra control by standing on the water. It was almost like hitting three birds with one stone. Kakashi has already gotten 5 fish and they were all laid on top of a banana leaf which was on the ground. The other banana leaf which was next to it, only had one fish and it was quite small.
But even so, Kana was determined to get a great catch. She didn't want to ask help anymore from Kakashi. She needed to do things by herself for now. She knew he wouldn't always be by her side and she had to become more independent for the sake of herself and the land of the mountains. "I'm going to go there, okay? Maybe there might be more fish that I can catch." Kana told Kakashi.
He nodded. "Be careful, the farther you go, the faster the current will be." He warned as he got a fresh new catch. Upon seeing how large the fish he caught, it made Kana more determined to go farther, no matter what are the risks. Kana went farther and farther until a nice, big fish caught her eye. She stopped in her tracks and raised her kunai, eyeing the fish carefully. She waited patiently for the right time before she quickly stabbed it, killing it instantly. A triumphant smile formed Kana's lips as she raised it like it was a trophy.
"Kakashi-san! I did—" From so much excitement, Kana lost control of her chakra and fell into the river with a loud splash. She was swallowed by the river for few seconds, and her entire body shook from the unexpected change in temperature. She let out a scream as she was starting to be carried by the fast current. She felt like small needles were piercing her bones softly. Tall, intimidating, sharp rocks were coming toward her as it did. Kakashi turned to look at her and his eye widened in surprise. He quickly dropped the new fish he caught and ran toward her.
"Kana-sama, grab my hand." He ordered urgently as he outstretched his hand and tried to catch up with her. Kana stretched her hand as well, but since both of their hands were wet, their hands kept on slipping. Finally, after a few tries, they finally held hands, but unfortunately, they were too late. Before they knew it, Kakashi was dragged into the water as well and they started falling down a waterfall. Kana screamed on top of her lungs as she held onto Kakashi's chest. Her scream was so loud, that birds flew away from these woods. Kana's hair went upwards with the wind, leaving the sides of her face. She felt sick and dizzy, as she watched the large rocks getting closer and closer.
