What hurts the most is when he held you close

     Kakashi quietly followed Aki through the forest. Kakashi was the only guard available since the rest was fighting Naruto's multi shadow clones. Aki and Kakashi were on their way to get Kana back. Everything was falling into place. All that was left was Kakashi to do his part of the plan. Kakashi was waiting until they were finally alone and deep in the forest before he could strike. "She's close." He muttered to himself while Kakashi quickly did the hand signs. Aki was a sensory type ninja and a really good one too.

      Kakashi knew it was time once he cannot hear the noise from the church. His hand lit up with his lightning blade as he ran toward Aki and swiftly stabbed him at the back. To Kakashi's surprise, it was a simple shadow clone. "I knew it was you all along. I caught you red handed, Kakashi Hatake." Aki said curtly. Kakashi snapped his head toward the source of the voice and saw Aki standing one of the branches of the tree above him. Kakashi narrowed his eye at him.

This is going to take longer than expected.

      "Kakashi-san is...alive..." Kana muttered to herself once again after Sai was finished explaining what really happened. Kana suddenly had a light feeling in her chest and she felt really happy. She couldn't help but smile and feel so much relief. Kana was soon snapped out of her happy thoughts when their transportation, the big white and black bird, started crashing down into the forest. One of the water ninjutsu hit him and now the bird was slowly melting like ice cream on a hot day.

      Kana and Sai felt the hard pressure of gravity pulling their head down as they fell to the forest. Sai was quickly drawing something on his beast scroll while Kana was holding onto his waist for dear life. Kana's hair flew upwards with the wind leaving the sides of her face and she let out a deafening scream and almost choked on the air that entered her mouth. She felt sick and dizzy as she saw the ground coming closer and closer.

      She squeezed her eyes shut, waiting for the pain to come with the impact. To her surprise, she heard a swooping sound and a cool breeze brush her skin before she landed on something feathery. She half opened her eyes to see black and white feathers of a big bird and Sai's pale back. She scowled in confusion. We didn't die? She sat up and saw that they were up in the air once again. Kana cautiously looked down to see that the guards have finally stopped attacking because Naruto shadow clones have ambushed them.

      She also saw from a far two figures fighting. One of them had brown, wavy hair while the other had silver, spiky hair. The silver haired man was lying down on the ground while looking up at the brown haired one and the other one was just looking down at him. Kana was too far to see any other details. "Aki? Kakashi-san?" She mumbled. She tugged on Sai's shirt and he glanced at her confused. Kana pointed at the area where she saw them. "Let's go to Kakashi-san, he's up against Aki. It looks like he needs my help. I won't be a burden, I promise. I know how to deal with Aki. Just trust me."

       "It's all part of our plan. We shouldn't interfere." He said blankly. He just kept his eyes locked forward. "Going there will just ruin everything that Kakashi-sensei has planned."

      She gripped his shirt tighter and he glanced at her again. "Sai-san... please... I'm begging you. I just want to see and help Kakashi-san." She begged as she looked at Sai with pleading eyes. Sai stared at her for a moment as if studying her if she was really serious about this. He eventually let out a deep sigh and nodded.

      "I hope you have a plan." He said as he controlled the bird to fly a few miles away from their spot. They swooped down and flew lowly so that Aki won't see them until they were meters away. They landed on the ground with a soft thud and they silently made their way to where their fight was occurring. Kakashi and Aki were throwing hits and jutsus at each other. This fight was getting nowhere since the both of them were just evenly matched. Since both of them were occupied, they weren't able to notice their presence.
