Chapter fourteen

A talk with the headstrong pinkette

     Sakura, Naruto, Sai, Yamato, Aki, Kakashi and Kana have finally reachrd their destination—the land of the mountains. Their travel was quite silent, the only people who kept on talking or creating noise was Naruto and Sakura and then at times Sai or Yamato would butt in. It was always the same thing. Naruto would say something stupid and Sakura punches him. Sai says something stupid then Naruto and Sakura would punch him. If Naruto, Sai, and Sakura keep arguing then Yamato would butt in and show them some creepy face that would freak the shit out of Naruto or trap them inside some dome made out of wood. Naruto would also remind everyone that he'll be hokage every 2 minutes. Aki would just mutter to himself while Kakashi and Kana would stay silent most of the time. They would just reply when needed and flash them smiles. They haven't talked to each other in a normal conversation in a while.

      Kana walked along her village, a small smile formed her lips as she saw the usual people who she would watch by her window. They were still doing their usual thing, and even after so long, they would still never change. Kana stepped in front once they reached the gates of her palace. "Bring me to my father. The people who are with me are my visitors. Now, open the gates!" She ordered sternly. The guards glanced at each other briefly before opening the gates; they were still wearing their protective glasses. As they entered, two more guards started to assist them. They brought them to the throne room where her father sat.

      She bowed in respect and so did the others. Kana quickly rushed to his side and gave him a peck on the cheek as a sign of greeting. "Father, we need your help."

      "What kind of help?" He asked as he eyed everyone in the room. "I see you have caught Prince Aki, huh?"

      "The Aigan," She stated seriously. He froze and glanced at her, surprised.

      "So that's what happened to Aki?" He asked as he stared at the tied up prince inside a wooden, moveable cage.

     "Yes, and also Kakashi-san."

      "Hmm, I see." He stood up and grabbed a wooden cane that supports him. "Kana, Kakashi, the man who's power is restraining Aki, and obviously Aki. Follow me." He ordered in a serious tone. "The rest, just stay there and don't touch anything." He walked out of the room with the said names tailing him. Once they reached the room, king Wataru closed the door and locked it. They were in a spacious room that has no furniture. The walls were pure white and there wasn't a single window. Their only exit was the door. "Now, set Aki free, but still restrain him."

      "What? Why?" Yamato asked.

      "So that Kana could try and release the jutsu," He replied simply. "I can't do anything to release him, only Kana can."

      "But father, I don't know how." She said sadly. "Don't forget that they wouldn't come here at the first place if I did know how."

      He let out a sigh as he rubbed his chin. "Just try it. Stare into his eyes and remember what you thought of when you first looked into his eyes." Kana nodded obediently and took a deep breath. Yamato has already set up everything. Aki was still muttering to himself as his hands and legs were being restrained by wood. Kana walked to him cautiously and stared into the depths of his eyes. She remembered that she was scared at that time of dying or being burned. She was scared that no one can save her.
