Chapter 5- Too Cool for English:

If any random girl were to look at me within that moment, not understanding the context of the scenario, they may have sighed jealously. They may have wanted to be where I was and be with the people I was with.

Someone should quickly inform those girls just how terrible the scenario was.

Me, a generally innocent new girl stuck on the well known 'walk of shame' to the principals office; not at any fault of my own (unless Ms. Hendrix happened to hear me insinuate she should be beaten with a flaming guitar). Instead at the fault of my idiotic older brother wearing a sickening 'YOLO' shirt and a generally gorgeous guy with an attitude that could hold its own against Kanye.

I was walking in between these two, very annoying guys. Though I couldn't help but feel slightly better knowing that Lux's t-shirt was balanced out by Hunter's amazing Led Zeppelin t-shirt.

One I didn't personally own already.

Lux was walking in front of me, looking around at the unfamiliar surroundings, wearing a bored expression. Hunter was lazily striding behind me and I couldn't help but feel self conscious, which cause me to pull down my t-shirt so that it covered my backside.

I had worn these jeans knowing just how great they made my butt look, but I didn't necessarily want Hunter agreeing on that fact.

Not that I was assuming he would be staring at my butt...

I'm not conceited like that. I'm conceited in far better ways.

I suppose I should just be content knowing that if (if being a small chance) the boy behind me spared a glance in my butt's direction I was wearing my best pair of jeans for it.

I really should start wearing jeans that made my butt look great instead of comfy jeans. Comfy is to sweatpants as jeans should to cute butts.

"Where exactly are you going?" Hunter asked Lux. I turned around to look up at him and found him shooting my helpless brother a confused expression. Lux matched my turning around and he shrugged, striding along backwards.

"I dunno." He commented happily, a brilliant smile quickly adorning his face. "Just taking a walk."

"Where are we supposed to go?" I asked Hunter, tilting my head to the side.

"Technically?" He asked with a smirk. I nodded. What else would I be asking? Where exactly he wanted to go? Maybe we could all take a nice trip to our favorite place. If we're lucky we could make it back by lunch! I scowled internally. "Sharon's office."

"Who's that?" I asked, my voice being the quintessence of confusion.

"The hot secretary." Lux explained with a grin.

Hunter glanced over at my brother, a deep frown making creases on his handsome face. I shook my head, before attempting to explain. "He has this dream of sleeping with a cougar." I tried, frowning back at my grinning brother.

Hunter blinked, looking worried before looking back and forth between my brother and myself.

"And you two are..."He asked slowly, pointing between the two out us.

"Brother"

"Sister"

Our replies were in perfect unison that one could think we rehearsed it.

He nodded. "That would explain the matching accents."

I frowned. "What accent?" I asked him, knitting my eyebrows together.
