The night had long since passed and daytime took its place. The girl hadn't stopped reading to her bear, and the bear would keep listening. Eventually, she finished the whole journal, but by that time, she had to come downstairs to answer the door."Pumpkin! You've gotten so big." Her father greeted with a hug.
"I know."
"Where's your mother?"
"She's in her room, I think."
"Well, since it's a special night, do you want a pizza?"
"Sure! Thanks dad!"
"Alright. I'll go pick up the pizza. You stay here and say bye to mommy." The dad left as fast as he'd arrived, a spring in his step. The car revved its engine and took off down the road until out of sight.

"Gorse, what do I do? Mommy says-""I know what mommy said." The blonde bear interrupted irately. He quickly fixed his attitude to a more positive one. "I mean, she also said I can come with you after all!"
"You're coming too?"
"Oh yes. I'm coming too." He turned away and muttered, "You can't keep a good bear down."
