By nightfall, I am ready. I am dressed in all black, and I've brought both of my weapons just in case. There's no doubt I'll have to fight my way in and out of the place they're holding him.
Jacob sleeps heavily in his bed and I stand over him. His blonde hair shines on the black pillow he sleeps on, and I want to kiss him. Jacob's red kissable lips are open just wide enough to hear sweet, rhythmic lips. But before I lean in, the thought that he knew my brother was at Camp One and kept it secret outrages me.
"You knew." I whisper then walk out the door. I close the door shut behind me and walk out the hotel.
It is completely dark outside only a few lights help me find my way. No one is in sight, and I suddenly feel more unsafe that I already feel. I start off at a jog until I am out that part of town. When I get to a rail road track, I stop to catch my breath. I have no ideas of how long it will be until I get to the soldiers that I saw in the morning, so I sit down on a wooden bench. No trains have come yet, and I don't plan on it. The place looks abandoned anyway. I get up off the bench and run across the rusted metal on the road.
It is just as I am off that I see the lights. I run towards them and see that it's city lights. They sparkle green, white, and blue. The colors symbolize a jail house and I feel a spark in my sunny brown eyes. Have I made it already?
A hill covers the part of the jail house, but I know this is it. When I get to the front part, guards already stand there. When they see me they their point their guns towards me.
"Who's there?" one asks. He is dressed in all red along with his companions, but he's the tiniest in height like me.
I walk a little closer. "I thought you knew my name." I say.
The guards look irritated now. "No, we don't know your name. Now quit playing games, and tell us your name or we shoot." the tall one says.
The short one, and the other one who hasn't talked yet, exchange angered glances. "You're intruding." the tall one sneers.
I can tell they're serious now. When I answer now, there is no turning back. "My name," I answer. "Is June Castor."
In the brief moments, there is a cackling quiet.
The guards all chuckle in unison. The next thing I know a butt of a gun knocks me in the head.

The cell is quite comforting. There's a small barred window that won't even fit a tiny and skinny girl in it. The walls are grayish with a red streak running against it. The red looks freshly painted and I get the feeling it's not paint, but blood. When I turn back around, I jump with a startle.
Someone I completely hate stands in front of me.
"Hello, Blue." I say.
"Hello, June." he says back.
I scowl right in front of the bars. Right in front of him. "Well... I guess you did get me. But only because I let you." I say.
"Oh, June," he smirks, shaking his head. "Goodness, you're stupid! We know you were in the alley, and we knew you were here."
I suck in my breath. "You mean," I say.
"No, June. Thanks to that girl you helped, and that soup and bread place, we got you. It didn't take long for them to find out. Oh, and that girl did a pretty good job of acting, didn't she?" Commander Blue chuckles.
Star? Star and that nice shopkeeper turned me in?
Just when I'm about to say it's a lie, Star comes from behind Blue. Now I'm angered. I'd been nice to her and this is what she does?
That's when do I lose my sanity. I shake the metal bars that hold me in. "YOU KNEW! WHY'D YOU TELL, STAR? WHY?" I scram and kick. How could this be, and why? Then it comes to me. That hole in her tattered rags that beeped every few minutes. You'd have to be really be looking at it to notice. When I told her I hate the North, that immediately disliking she gave me.
Those guards by the alley weren't laughing at her, they were laughing at me and Jacob. Every guard we saw I realize they already know we're here. It was all an act. That's all it was.
"I'm not from the South, June." Star says, her cold dark green eyes-that I thought was innocent before-staring straight into my soul.
"I know, Star." I sigh as I calm down and look away. I can't trust no one, can I? "Where's my brother?" I ask.
Commander Blue smiles. "Don't worry, June. We'll bring you to him." he gleams.
