If it was any other day, I would be thrilled that I actually got to hold June in my arms, and carry her to the infirmary. Not today.

Whatever my sudden suspicions about the soldiers who follow my commands too quickly, and move like they're the living dead, have been confirmed.

I found out what they actually are, when during curfew check. It was all on accident too. If I hadn't decided to look on my attendance for the soldiers I train, I never would've found the names. Instead of my regular everyday attendance board, I found a list called: Testing Finals Score Board. I would've never thought anything wrong of it, but something caught my eye: Down, at the bottom of the list, was Leslie Zester's name in big, scarlet letters that seemed to scream at me. Then, next to her name were three letters that any cadet would dread. - TO BE RECYCLED.

It didn't take long for me to put two and two together. I hacked into the Camp One data base archives, and searched through Commander Blue's files. Searching through them took me the whole night, and it wasn't until four hours after midnight, that I found them.

Then there was a video. I plugged into it, making sure to keep the volume low. When I watched, my body went rigid and cold.

The video was grainy, but that didn't stop me from finding out what they were doing to the lab animal. It was as if the scientist at the Lab Division took the animal, literally turned its body inside out, and then skinned it, replacing it's insides with multicolored wire.. After that, they took the animal that I learned about when I first moved to Camp One, and zoomed in with the camera. Deep in a hole, inside the mall white, snowball of an animal, were more tiny blue wires. The video took attention to its long pink tail.

The video faded to black before I could see anything else. Whatever the scientists did to that animal, I have a feeling the Lab Division wants it to happen to Leslie and some other soldiers supposed to go Home.

That's why I have to find a way to get Leslie and June out of Camp One before it's too late. Otherwise, after tomorrow, they may both be dead.

I wake up, June at my door, dressed in the April yellow dress she used to wear. The bright, golden yellow, sundress, only with long sleeves, twirled at the bottom. Her long, dark wavy hair blows with the wind. Her golden brown eyes staring at me, desperately.

I open the door, and she quickly, she forces the door shut, along with the windows in my cabin and the sort. She leaves nothing open for anybody to see us through.
