Moon Goddess POV

As I watched the scene unfold at The Alpha Moore's house at my magical mirror, I knew that time to give Roxie the full prophecy was drawing near and that I must prepare to descend to earth once again. I walked into my bed chambers taking off my godly robes for a silk earthen dress that I had found back in Greece.

As I put the dress on, someone knocked at the door. I turned toward the door and said, "Come on in, Effie. I was going to call for you in a moment, but as usual you already know." I smiled at her as she entered.

Effie smiled at me, then said, "Of course I knew. I even brought the scroll of the prophecy, because I know you were you are going and what you are doing." She took a breath and looked at me. "I want to go but I don't know if I would be of any use to you other than to give her the full prophecy from me."

I stood up and walked over to her, pulling her to me in a hug. "There is no need to feel like it is your fault. The Fates may seem cruel but we have to do what we can to help." I pulled away slightly to look at her, "If you want to come you can I don't mind. The portal won't be open for a while so sit and have some refreshments."

"Thank you, Anahita." She said smiling at me, using my Persian name. "I am extremely glad your going to let me come with you, reminds me that not all life is not just getting visions and giving prophecies to people asking for them."

I smiled kindly at her and pulled her toward the chair beside my vanity table. After she sat, I began to brush my moon-colored hair. "Shall I explain more about the family to calm your nerves?" I asked her.

She sighed, "Yes, please. I hope you don't mind telling me about the family. My visions can only tell me so much."

I smiled at her, "I don't mind. Her dad and mother will be there, along with the pack doctor. They were all there at her birth." I froze feeling another presence enter their house. "Hold on I believe someone else has joined the house hold."

I got up and walked to my magic mirror and seen the young warrior, Pete, walk in. I smiled as I turned and motioned toward Effie to join me. I willed the mirror to focus on Pete.

Effie gasped softly, "I see we will have to make an exception to who all gets told. He will know sooner or later." She smiled up at me.

"I believe so," I smiled back at her. "So how about we go to my portal and start preparing?"

She nodded eagerly and followed me out into the hall taped my portal. I started to mentally prepare myself because I knew in my heart I was going to be changing a young girls life forever.

Pete's POV

After I had put my things in their proper place in the guest house&, I pulled out my phone to call home. After 3 rings, my mom picked up. "Hello, Pete."

I smiled into the phone, "Hey, mom. I wanted to call and tell you I was settled in. I also wanted to see how you and Jess were doing?"

She sighed quietly, "I'm glad you made it safely and are settling in just fine. I am doing wonderful. Jessica, on the other hand, is missing her big brother. I would let her speak with you but she is in bed due to school in the morning." She paused for a moment, "But don't worry, I will tell her your doing good and you miss her as well."

I heard her smile and my grin got bigger, "Thanks mom. I better get off here and go see Alpha Mejia before I turn in for the night. I love you both."

"We love you, Pete. May the Moon Goddess watch over you. Goodbye, son," she hung up quietly.

I put my phone down and got up to walk to the pack house. As I walked up to the house, something felt different. I felt Victor start pacing and becoming restless. 'What's wrong, Vic?'

He whined softly, 'Something is different. It's like the house is being protected by someone divine. I have a feeling everything will change after tonight.'

I stilled as I walked up to the door, pondering his words. 'If that is so, I will gladly protect this family. It feels right to give my life to protect them, no wait for her.'

I felt him nod. 'Then let us go and see how this night will unfold.'

I nodded and lifted my hand to knock on the door.
