🎄 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

"No," I shook my head violently.

"Why not? It was fun the last time we played it," Asher smirked, causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance.

"If I had a rake with me, I'd throw it at you again," I snapped.

Asher chuckled at everyone's bewildered expressions, causing me to crack up as well.

"I don't even want to ask," Kate said, shaking her head in dissent. She ushered us all to sit in a circle before I could dissent, and had somehow procured an empty bottle.

"Who wants to spin first?" Owen asked, placing the bottle in the middle of our lopsided circle.

"I'll do it," Hadley volunteered. She leaned over, deftly spinning the bottle. As it slowed down, my heart shuddered in anticipation. When it finally stopped, the top was pointing towards Kate.

"Truth or dare?" Hadley smirked, her eyes glittering cruelly.

"Dare," she replied with hesitation, her lips curling into a smile.

"I want you to..." Hadley pursed her lips, "call a random number pretending to be a jealous wife."

Kate smirked in response, slipping her phone out of her pocket. She tapped random numbers into her phone, and soon the rings filled the empty room.

"Hello," a deep voice greeted. "Who is this?"

"Micheal?" Kate asked angrily.

"No... this is Liam."

"No, you're Micheal."

"Okay?"

"Well, Micheal, Jenna told me that she saw you with Hera. Again."

"The Greek goddess of marriage?"

"No, the bartender at Moe's Tavern."

"I'm not even old enough to go there."

"Stop lying to me!"

"I'm not lying..."

"You took my heart and tore it apart," she sobbed into the phone.

"Are you quoting Westlife?"

"No..."

"Yes, you are."

"Stop distracting me! We were talking about your infidelity!"

"I'm-"

"An apology won't cut it!"

"You-"

"Stop telling me what to do!"

"I didn't-"

"Didn't I tell you to stop lying?"

"You know what? I'm filing for a divorce," he quipped back.

"Not if I do it first!"

"Fine," he huffed.

"Fine," Kate agreed, rolling her eyes. She hung up the phone after that, and faced us with amusement.

"He actually went along with it," Hadley choked out, the first of us to actually speak. All of us were laughing throughout the phone call, but now that we could actually make noise, our laughter boomed through the empty library.

"Whatever. It's my turn to spin," she sighed, reaching over and flicking the bottle. It span quickly before slowing down and landing on me.

"Shit," I muttered under my breath, flashing Kate a tentative smile.

"Truth or dare, Kara?" she asked, her lips curled into a sadistic smile. Quickly weighing my options, I decided to stray away from the safer option.

"Dare," I replied with a smile of my own.

"Okay, come with me," she grinned pulling us behind the shelves where we wouldn't be heard. "I want you to go outside, make a large snowball, and throw it at Asher."

"Really?" I asked, excitement coursing through my veins.

"I'm going to go back now, hurry up," she ordered me, and I nodded. I snuck to the main entrance of the library, pushing the door open. As I walked into the wintry air, I shuddered slightly. I plunged my hands into the freshly fallen snow, and grabbed a handful of the icy liquid. Patting it into a quick ball, I ran back inside the library, still under the cloak of shelves. Slowly, I made my way to Asher, silently pressing my finger against my lips to signify silence.

Wordlessly, I dropped the cold ball of snow onto his head, and watched his shocked face turn towards me.

Well shit.
