Mercy's POV

I ran into the living room to find Livvy.

"Hey Hugo, have you seen Livvy?" I asked the 13 year old sitting on the couch.

"Um, yeah I have. She said she was going somewhere that only the real you would know, whatever that means" he said not even taking his eyes off the screen. Livvy's hiding spot was this little area under a tree that she turned into a secret ground level tree-house. I ran outside and hopped onto a four wheeler before driving out to the site. I saw her little 50cc parked nearby so I turned the engine off and walked over to the droopy trees.

"Livvy?" I called out crawling through the opening.

"Mercy?" I heard her sob.

"Yes baby" I crawled over to her and wrapped my arms around her.

"What happened to you? Why were you acting weird?" She asked turning around in my arms.

"I was having a special type of seizure, I get a lot of different seizures depending on what's happening but the one you saw makes surprise attacks, I'm fine now, okay baby?" I explained to her.

"Okay... you found the ribbon?" she saw the blue fabric in my hand, her eyes lit up like fireworks.

"Yeah, how did you get it?" I asked her and she smiled big.

"Well Coach Donalds gave it to me when I kicked the winning goal. My shot made us get into the grand finals for the Joeys!" she explained excitedly. I kissed the top of her head.

"Good job Liv. We should go home before it gets too dark" I tapped her bottom to get her to get out of my lap.

"Okay" she crawled out and I followed.

"Mercy?" Jason's voice asked as the screen door slammed shut.

"Yas?" I questioned and smiled weirdly.

"Are you crazy? Why did you leave this house straight after an episode like the one you had earlier?" He asked.

"I went and got Livvy, you know the six year who ran away, but no let's stay with the fact that I had an episode" I threw my arms up into the air.

"I had to leave work early because of you, you know" Jason raising his voice.

"Yeah well it turns out that you're NOT my FATHER so stop acting like it, you have your own home, go there!" I yelled before running upstairs to my room bursting into tears.

Sable's POV

I was glad to hear that Mercy had brought Livvy back safe. Jason wasn't too happy when she left though, I had to try and calm him down. She was back now safe and sound and with Livvy, that was the main thing. I sighed thinking about all the crazy things that happened in our family over the past few months. One thing straight after another, I was surprised that we were still standing.

In the living room, Hugo was playing a round of COD zombies on his Xbox. He didn't seem to have a care in the world despite the ruckus of Mercy's recent episode.

"Hugo" I tried getting his attention but he continued playing. "Hugo!" I yelled louder this time.

"What?" he replied, eyes still watching the TV screen.

"Listen to me when I'm talking to you please."

"Oh shut up Sable, you're not my mother."

I growled in the back of my throat. Something was off with Hugo lately. Normally he was a nice little guy but he'd been so moody the past few weeks. I couldn't figure out if it was because of Mercy and Jason showing up or puberty but either way he had to stop.
