Mercy's POV

"Albi, I have to go to Adamsville right now" I told him as I walked up to the guy at his locker.

"What the... Mercy you sounded just like Sable then" he jumped.

"Adamsville is only an hour away, less time on the road then Ashford to Adamsville" I told him.

"Dude it's Tuesday and we're in the middle of school, we can't just walk out" he tried to reason with me.

"Friday then. I'll wait until Friday but that's it. Straight after school on Friday we drive to Adamsville. Is that okay?" I asked him.

"It's a date" he rolled his eyes. I turned around and saw Sable slowly walking this way.

"See you later" I told Albi, "Hey Saby!" I waved as she walked past.

Sable's POV

A wave of dread filled me once again as I heard then talking. I didn't mean to eavesdrop... I just happened to hear. So now they were going on a date? Was it actually a date or just a friendly thing? Goddamnit I couldn't tell. I heard Mercy running up to me but I really didn't want to talk to her right now.

"What?" I asked quite rudely.

"Whoa... what's wrong?" she answered, seeming a bit shocked at my sudden outburst.

"Nothing... I'm fine, I'm just going to maths so bye" I finished and quickly rushed away from her.
Could my day get any worse? I just wanted to be left alone...

Mercy's POV

Friday was finally here, but as I woke up I felt different Something felt... wrong. It must just be the nerves, but then and it felt familiar as well, like it was going to get worse. I shook it off and got dressed, deciding I would skip breakfast as I felt nauseous going down the stairs. Nerves. The nerves for tonight's fight that must be it for sure. I walked to school my usual way. The playlist start with Ruin by Shawn Mendes.

"Hey Mercy, wait up" An old familiar voice called.

"Hey Bray? What's new?" I asked in a monotone voice, trying not to show emotion.

"I'm sorry I took so long but you know what I figured out? Who cares what happened in the past? What I should be caring about is right now" she explained.

"So what does that mean?" I asked, looking at my feet.

"Could you ever forgive me for walking away?" she asked. I pretended to think about it.

"Okay, I guess I could give you a second chance, but... do you still love me while knowing my past?" I asked the question that haunted me for the past month.

"Yes, and I'm terribly sorry for the way I've been acting when you needed me the most" tears fell down her face which caused me to cry too.

"Okay, Mercy are you ready to go?" Albi asked as he came to my locker, his keys were spinning in his hand, hitting each other as they danced around his finger.

"Yeah" I pushed myself off of the locker and my head started spinning. The nausea came back ten times harder. I ran over to the rubbish bin and threw up into it.

"You aren't alright, maybe you should cancel" He said just as the excruciating pain in my lower stomach area started.

"Remember... when I... was 14... that pain is back" I managed before collapsing onto the ground.

"Shit Mercy" he picked me up and carried me to his car. "We are not going to fucking Adamsville now" he said speeding to the hospital. When he carried me through the door I passed out and memories from 2 years ago played through my head.
