Chapter Sixteen: Mercy tells Bray

Sable's POV.

Gabe and Mercy are dating? Why have I just notice it now? Since when did they start loving each other? Was I blinded this whole time?

I was walking into the locker hall when I heard Mercy and Gabe tell each other that they loved each other. I ran out to find Goel and ask him if he knew anything about it, eventually finding him sitting at a table with Albi, Bray, Bree and Connor.

"Did you guys know Mercy and Gabe are a thing?" I asked loving the fact I knew something they didn't.

"What!?" Connor and Bray stood up and Albi sat them down.

"But I thought Mercy was into..." Bree started.

"Nerds! Uh yeah that's weird" Albi butted in giving a weird look to Bree. He is so hot.

"But..." Bray started but Albi put his hand over her mouth. Connor relaxed a bit. The bell rang.

"Oh no there's the bell. Connor, let's get to class" Albi gave him a knowing look and they walked off.

Albi's POV.

"So did you find out? Gabe told me you told him something?" I asked him watching Connor's expression."Yeah I found it on Friday Night."

"Did you figure it out? Did you get the sign?" I asked him I already knew everything as Gabe called me this morning.

"Mercy's pregnant, yeah I got the memo. How did she find out?" He asked.

"She uh... She miscarried with one of the babies" I explained. Mercy was probably going to kill me when she found about me telling Connor everything.

"What!? What happened? Wait... did you say babies? As in plural?" He asked.

"She had triplets but now there is only two" I explained as we entered the classroom.

"I have questions for a lot of people right now" Connor sat in his seat next to mine.

"We all do at the moment but now is not the time" I explained just as the teacher walked in.

"Okay everyone, I have decided that we will have prac today" Mr Kingsman stated getting everyone out of their seats and outside. Everyone in our friend group was in this class.

"Okay. Let's play soccer, Albi and Danielle are the captains" Mr Kingsman blew his whistle.

"Danielle your choose first"

"Okay... Hamish"

"Gabe."

"Lilly."

"Mercy."

"Noel."

"Sable."

"Brit."

"Connor."

"Liam."

"Bray."

"Ash."

"And Goel" I picked him for Sable. I can't believe I'm actually related to him.

"Let's go! Split and play" Mr Kingsman blew his whistle again distracting me from my thoughts. We went to our side of the field, it wasn't long until Mercy lost herself with the nausea. I ran over to her in worry.

"You okay?" I asked as the colour drained from her face.

"No, I'm sorry Albi" She ran off the field.

"Connor" I ran over to him.

"Is she okay?" He asked me.

"Did Sable get the sign?"
