Falling in love with someone new
Is like walking through long hallways
In darkness
You have to trust
That your feet will carry you
And your rotting rib cage
And the hallows of your
Empty
Lonely
Chest
To the place where
The crooked lines of your
Sewn up heart meet
You may run into
A few walls
And frozen windows
Locked handles
With no keys
Rendevous with the skeletons
In your linen closet
But eventually
Your weary limbs
Will guide you
And your constellation eyes
And your flowered veins
Home
To
Me.
