Don't Hurt Her

Lucas's POV.

"What are you talking about Zay?" I questioned him.

"When Riley, Maya, Farkle, and I were looking for you, we went to look at the Phoenixes old mansion and I heard Enzo and Levi talking about a plan. They said that they were going to take you in exchange of the stone or they were going to do something else" he explained.

"Ok, and?" I said confused.

"I'm guessing the other option was to take Maya" he mumbled looking down at his shoes.

"They were going to what?"

"I think the other option was to get Maya, to get you to make a trade." He sighed

"Well, let's go get her back then" Farkle said coming in the conversation.

"I'm going to go and get her back." I said about to go out the door when Zay stopped me.

"No, Lucas! Don't be stupid! What if it's a trick to just kill you?"

"Ok fine, the message said to come alone, but yeah... I'm not that stupid. So you guys are going to hide out somewhere when I go to meet whoever took Maya. If I need you guys I'll call for help" I suggested to the group.

"How are we going to even find her?" Riley asked.

"After the message came I got a text that had the address on it" I responded.

"Ok, so what about the stone?" Farkle asked.

"I'm going to have it in my pocket in case things get out of hand and I need to actually give it to them" I said to him while grabbing the stone and slipping it into my pants pocket.

"Do you think it's smart to give them the stone though?" Farkle asked

"It's the stone or Maya, and I'm not letting anything happen to Maya." I said

"Yeah me either." Riley agreed.

"Alright... then it's settled" Zay added.

"Let's go get Maya back" I said as we exited the house.

AT THE ADDRESS

We finally got to the address and ended up at an abandoned warehouse in the middle of nowhere. We were walking till we heard a muffled scream then we started running.

"Guys, you need to hide. I'm going in" I said as I slowly pushed open the door of the building. I walked in to see Maya with tape over her mouth and tears running down her face while she was tied up to a chair in the middle of the room with only one spotlight over her.

"Maya!" I said while running towards her, but I stopped once I saw Enzo come up behind her.

"You know, it's a shame Friar. All you had to do was come alone with the stone and we would let your little girlfriend go." he said with a sick grin on his face.

"Don't hurt her!" I screamed.

"Too late Friar" he said and in a matter of seconds he snapped her neck.

"NOOOOO!" I yelled running over to her.

"I said if you didn't come alone you would regret it."

"Maya! Come back! You have to come back!" I yelled as I knelt beside her and I felt something by my leg but I didn't worry about it because Maya, my girlfriend and best friend, was now dead.

I turned to see that Enzo was coming towards me while Zay, Farkle, and Riley were running in through the door.

Riley's POV.

Farkle, Zay, and I were all waiting outside in case Lucas needed us when we heard loud yelling.

"Was that Lucas?" I asked worried.

"We gotta get in there!" Zay yelled running into the building followed by myself and Farkle.

When we entered the building, I saw something I thought my eyes would never lay on.

"MAYA!" I screamed with tears streaming down my face.

No POV.

"Lucas! What the hell happened!" Zay shouted running over to Lucas who was sitting on the ground near Maya looking more broken than anyone ever could.

"He killed her... Enzo killed Maya" Lucas said breaking down into tears.

Zay looked at Maya then at Enzo and ran toward him and pinned him against the wall. Then Enzo pushed him off and ran towards him but Zay got out of the way, broke a piece of the chair Maya was tied to and jumped on Enzo, to try and stake him in the heart. But Enzo got the upper hand, took the stake from him and was about to stake Zay in the heart when Riley comes out of nowhere screaming.

"YOU KILLED MY BEST FRIEND." And used her powers to throw him to the wall.

He looked shocked for a minute looking at Riley, then ran out the door.

Riley POV.

"I can't believe it" I said while Zay and I ran back over to Maya getting teary eyed again looking at Maya's lifeless body on the ground.

"Zay how could you not have waited to hear their plan!" Lucas shouted at him, now more angry then upset.

"I was worried about my best friend! I'm sorry!" Zay yelled getting angry as well.

"Maybe if you waited Maya wouldn't be dead" Lucas stated sharply pushing Zay, as he sped out of the building at lightning speed.

THE PHOENIXES POV.

"The girl, she's a witch" Enzo announced
