IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

Lucas's POV.

Why did this happen! I just got Maya and now she's gone for good! This...this feeling, I hate it, I don't want this empty feeling anymore. I just wish I could make it all go away.

Wait a second

No POV.

Zay, Farkle, and Riley all walked back to the house with Maya in Zay's arms.

Once they got there, Zay put Maya onto the couch.

"I can't believe this is real. Oh my god, we have to call everyone. How are we gonna tell her parents? We have to go home right now. And I have to go and get her favorite things together and I have to-" Riley was pacing around the room and rambling when Zay cuts her off.

"Riley," he said coming closer to her to put his arms on her shoulders when she pushed him away.

"No, no I need to, I have to make sure she's in her favorite outfit, I need my phone, where's my phone" She said in a panic looking around. "Where is my phone why isn't it here!" She said about to run into the other room, when Farkle stopped her and put his arms around her.

"Riley shh, please calm down. We have time to do all this, just please calm down." Farkle said.

"Farkle, I can't. She's gone. Maya's gone." Riley said crying into Farkle's shirt. They sat there for a while until Riley finally went quiet because she cried herself to sleep.

No POV continuation

Lucas was walking the streets when a car came up and almost hit him. The people stopped and a girl got out of the car to ask if he was okay, and to make sure they did not hit him. Then 3 other girls got out of the car to see what was happening. He just looks at her and doesn't say anything.

"Hello? Are you okay?" The friend of the girl asked.

He gave a quick glance at the girl then looked back at her once again. He quickly noticed that she had blonde hair and was short. Without a blink of an eye he ran over to her and attacked her neck and drained her of her blood. The other girls screamed and tried to get away from him, but he wouldn't let that happen. Before they could get away he attacked every single one of them and drained them till they were empty. After he finished with the last girl he dropped her to the ground and stepped over her body and walked away, without a care in the world.

Lucas starts heading to the closest bar and sits down in the front.

"Give me the strongest thing you got"

"How old are you? You know what, I'm going to need some ID."

"No, you don't need my ID and you're going to just give me the damn drink. And make it free."
Lucas said compelling the waiter.

"I don't need your ID and I'm going to give you this drink for free." The bartender said smiling while handing Lucas a glass of bourbon. This would be the first time in many years that Lucas has drank.

After a few minutes this girl started to hit on him. He looked her up and down and then brought her into the back room and started to make out with her.

AN HOUR LATER

"Alright I'm bored" Lucas announces as he finishes his umpteenth drink and snaps the woman he was making out withs neck. He pushed the dead women off of him, wiped his mouth, and then walked out the door with no destination in his mind.

Walking down the road with a drink in his hand he stops and lays in the middle of the street and looks up at the stars.

After sitting in silence for a while, he heard someone speak.

"Lucas?" He turned his head to see who it was, rolled his eyes, and turned back towards the star filled night sky.
