Maya POV

"Ok fine! I'm...." Lucas said then went silent for a few minutes.

"Let's go Huckleberry! I'm waiting!"

Lucas's POV

Crap! I don't know what to do!

"Alright!" I look to Zay for help but he just shrugs his shoulders.

"I'm starring in a play? Yeah! I'm starring in a play about vampires and that girl is another star. She came to prank Zay and I." I lied to her.

Maya's POV

Is he serious right now? A freakin play? He is lying!

"Lucas James Friar! You are lying! I want the truth right now!" I yell at him.

"That's not my..." He was saying but I cut him off

"I don't care what it actually is! Tell me what just happened!"

"Alright. Zay and I are vampires, and that girl's name is Olivia and in 1880 her and this guy named Levi and a whole group of other vampires captured Zay and I. They tortured us because we stole this stone and they wanted it back. Then they were about to kill me or Zay and then my ex-girlfriend Jessica came to save us and then we got away. But they killed her." I said quickly and all at once.

Then Zay jumped into the conversation

"And that girl who just attacked you was Olivia."

I looked over at Maya and her eyes were huge, maybe we should have just stopped at we are vampires.

Maya's POV

"Vampires...?" I questioned with big eyes.

Are you kidding me. Vampires? That's ridiculous! He has to be lying right?

"What? You're crazy! Vampires aren't real! I'm getting out of here." I said as I ran towards the door and then I heard a 'whoosh' sound and looked in front of me to see Lucas towering over me.

"How did you.. but you were just.. WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled and started to back away from him but bumped into Zay and then started to back away from him too.

Lucas POV

"Maya you need to calm down! It's ok, we aren't going to hurt you." I say trying to calm her down but it doesn't really work.

"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CALM DOWN LUCAS?! I can't do this right now!" She yells at me and tries to run again, so I quickly grab her from behind and lift her up.

"Lucas let me go! Stop!" Maya yelled while kicking and screaming in terror.

"Maya you need to calm down" I said to her in a soothing voice.

"Let go! Please let me go! Someone help!" She screamed while tears started to run down her face.

I then took matters into my own hands. I placed her back on the ground and spun her to face me. I grabbed her by the arms and looked her straight in the eyes.

"You're going to sit down on that couch and listen to us" I said calmly holding her shoulders and sitting her on the couch and she just sat there silent. I didn't want to compel her but she wouldn't stop screaming! After a few seconds later she blinked a couple times and looked back and forth between me and Zay.

Maya's POV

I was now sitting on the couch just looking between Zay and Lucas trying to process everything.

"Maya, I compelled you to sit down on the couch and listen to us. You just wouldn't stop screaming and crying and I couldn't let you go without us all talking." Lucas said as Zay just nodded waiting for Lucas to speak again.
