One Hell of A Ride

No POV.

The door opens and the floorboards creak. A hand picks up a reddish looking rock and stares at it.

"Well, would you look at that" The person says smirking.

Zay POV.

I can't believe him, I don't know how we are going to deal with him and the Phoenixes at the same.... wait a second.

"Where's the Blood stone?" I asked Lucas while pinning him against a nearby tree.

Lucas rolls his eyes and goes in his pocket and pulls out nothing. He checks his other pocket and yet again nothing.

"Where is it Lucas!"

"I don't know man. Who cares." Lucas said while pushing me off of him.

"I care! That stone can kill a whole bunch of people if we don't find it!" I yelled.

"Whatever, I'm out of here." He says throwing up his hands, and walking away.

"Dammit!" I yelled punching a tree.

Enzo POV.

"Ohhh Enzo," Candice, one of my little toys as I call them, chimes as she comes into my room.

"What is it love?"

"You would not guess what I found on the floor in the warehouse where we killed that bitch Maya"

I went up to her and pinned her against the wall, our lips were about to touch.

"Don't be a tease." I said looking at her in her eyes.

"Now, why should I tell you?"

"Because you can't resist my sexiness." I told her giving her a soft kiss, and looking her back in the eyes. "Now tell me what you found."

She pulls something out of her pocket and shows it in her hand. I was about to grab it, but she ran away from me, trying to be cute.

"Is that the Bloodstone?" I said with a serious tone.

"Maybe." She responded while I ran over to her and tried to grab it but she pulled away again.

"Enough, this is not a game anymore. I said give it to me!" I said angrily, and without another word she handed me the stone.

"Thanks love, now go cook us some dinner." I smiled while she walked away.

I held the stone in my hands as I sat down in the living room and awaited for my family to arrive home. I was sitting in silence when I heard Levi and Reina walk through the door arguing about who knows what. But once they saw me and the stone in my hand they immediately stopped their argument.

"Is that what a think it is?" Reina questioned.

"If you're thinking it's the Bloodstone then you're correct sister." I responded and then Levi ran over to me and tried to grab it but I pulled away.

"How did you get it?" Reina asked.

"Candice found it in the warehouse, Lucas must have dropped it when I killed his precious girlfriend." I said smirking.

"Great. Now let's tell the rest of the family. We have been waiting for this since 1879. Nobody better screw it up this time." Levi said.

No POV.

"No Maya, please you need to drink blood. I can't lose you." Riley said to Maya crying.

"I didn't ask for this Riley! I don't want to be a vampire!" Maya replied crying. "Who cares if I die, sure as hell Lucas doesn't."

"But I care!" Riley shouted.

Zay runs into the house freaking out.

"Zay?" Riley asked while he ran into lucas's room.

"Shit." He yelled throwing the clothes on the floor. "It's not here! Why isn't it here!"

"Zay, what's wrong?" Maya asked through her tears. Zay stopped and looked at Maya.

"Nothing. That's not the problem right now." He went over to Maya and hugged her.

"Maya, I know you were looking for Lucas to give you the right answer, but don't listen to anything he says right now. He's not himself. Just look around you." Zay says while Maya looks at him, Riley and Farkle. "We love you, your Mom and Shawn love you. I know that becoming a vampire is scary and you never planned it, but neither did I. It's not going to be easy. The fight Lucas and I have to go through everyday not to feed on innocent people is one of the hardest things I have ever had to go through. But you're strong Maya. You can do this. I will help you throughout this whole thing. Do you understand me? We are here for you Maya"

"I don't know. Just the idea of... woah" Maya was saying while trying to get up but fell back down.

"Maya, you're getting really weak. You don't have much time left. It's now or never" Zay told her.

"Maya, look at me." Riley said putting her hands onto Maya's face, forcing her to look at her. "I know you're scared, but please, I don't know what I would do if I were to lose you. You are my best friend and I will be next to you through all of this I promise. But please don't give up on yourself Peaches. You can get through this"

"Okay... I'll do it." Maya said quietly, nodding to Zay.

"You only need a little bit of human blood to make the transformation." Zay told Maya.

"I'll do it." Riley told them, Maya looked concerned. "I trust you Maya. You only need a little. If this saves your life, I am fine with it."

Maya nodded her head. Zay got a knife and made a slit on Riley's hand. Riley put her hand up to Maya and Maya slowly bent down to her wrist, than started to drink a little bit of Riley's blood then pulled away.

"Oh my god! What the hell! Ow!" Maya screamed in pain as she put her hand up, holding her mouth. A few seconds later Maya's eyes started to change and her fangs came in. Maya looked at Riley's hand that was still bleeding. Riley's saw the hunger in Maya's eyes as she tried to back away and Maya was about to go after her, but Riley ran and Zay pinned Maya against the wall.

"Maya!" Zay yelled but Maya was still focused on the blood. "Maya look at me! Breathe!" Maya then looked at Zay and started to calm down. "There you go, just relax and breathe." Maya finally calmed down and slid against the wall and sat on the floor.

"Riley I am so sorry. I... I don't know what came over me. It's like I couldn't stop"

"It's okay Maya, trust me it's okay. I'm fine."

Maya nodded putting her head in her hands. "This is going to be one hell of a ride"
