When Gilbert and The Hoff walked into the room, they were greeted by a chilly wind that made Gilbert shiver, and a group of over-excited middle age people shouting and trying to see if the Messiah was actually here. Gilbert noticed there were computers showing security camera footage of the mountain home and Gilbert's shirt. He was confused.
"Gilbert, these are your followers. These people believe in what you want to do and want to help anyway they can." The Hoff said. This confused Gilbert because HE had no idea what he was trying to and what his job was, yet these people believe his cause. Gilbert stood there in shock wondering what he should do. He chose to just humor them for a bit and see what their deal was.
These people were apparently his followers, the Goldfishians. They wanted to follow him and do his bidding. Gilbert thought it was freaky that they ended up knowing a lot about him. For example, they knew about the many adventures of Gilbert and Morgan. They were also full of information about Gilbert's search history. It was around this moment that Gilbert knew something was off about these followers. I mean, where did they come from? How did they know about Gilbert? It was all kind of freaky.
Gilbert looked down at his shirt and began to look for the camera. He could not seem to find it and just decided to rip off his shirt entirely. After ripping it off, it was thrown on the ground. Gilbert marched out of the room and into the Hoff's sleek car. The Hoff and the many followers of the Goldfishian religion followed Gilbert of a bit begging for him to stay, but Gilbert just drove out of the cave.
"Wait a minute," The Hoff shouted, "You can't just leave! Morgan hired me to save and protect you, these people need help and guidance, I need help and guidance." Gilbert contemplated staying for a bit, but then decided it was best to just continue driving and not look back. Gilbert just kept going and going. He had no clue what his plan was, or where he was going to go from here, but he did just keep on driving.
