I sat in the limo. Bone had just said that we were mates, and that he was a werewolf. I think this was a condition, where people actually think they are vampires and werewolfes.
"Look, I think your confused," I said.
"I'm not. I have my own pack, I'm the Alpha."
"Werewolfes don't exist. I'm sorry if you think your one, bu-"
Suddenly I was cut off my a fierce growl. I jumped, glancing at Bone. I had to do a double take, what I was looking at was unreal.
Instead of blue eyes, Bone's were a golden yellow. His teeth were suddenly sharp, and his nails resembled claws.
I let out a small scream, scrambling away from Bone. I got as far away as possible. What was he?! What is happening?!
"What are you?"
"I'm a werewolf," Bone said, his face returning to normal.
"Why do you exist, its an abomina-"
"DON'T finish that word!" Bone snapped.
I flinched back. I felt like I was going to pass out. This couldn't be real, but it was. My reality, everything I knew, had been shattered. It had been turned upside down. I couldn't contain my breaths any longer. They were getting deeper, harsher. My heart felt like it would burst out of my chest.
"Mina, stay calm," Bone said.
My eyes snapped to his. A look if concern was etched on his handsome features.
"I - I can't," I whispered, my vpice breaking.
Instantly, Bone came over to me. I tried to get away, but he grabbed my small waist, wrapping one arms around me. He pulled me onto his lap. Gently, he gathered my hair away from my face.
Strangly, this seemed to calm me a little.
"Breathe, in and out. Focus on my voice, nothing else," Bobe said, pulling me to his chest.
Our bare skin touched. I gasped as tingles spread throughout me. I relaxed, not bothering to care I was lying against some stalker. I began to calm down, I soon felt like I could be on my own.
When I was younger, I used to get panic attacks. They were scary, I felt like I was dying. Eventually, they got less frequent until they stopped. I only felt terribly anxious in highly stressful situations. This was one of them.
Feeling loads better, I pushed away from Bone. I sat down next to him, giving myself space between us. Whatever this was, I didn't like it. Bone was basically searching for me for mysterious purposes. I have no clue for what.
Yet, everytime our skin cane into contact, I felt sparks. It felt like I could be safe with him. I don't know why I would ever feel this way. I didn't want to feel this way. I will not be developing Stockholm Syndrome whatsoever.
"So, can you explain this mate stuff," I said.
"Well look who's interested?" Bone said, smirking.
"I'm not, I just don't see a way out of this," I said sighing.
"What do you mean?" Bone asked.
"I mean that I will never get away from you. I have this feeling that you will find me wherever I go. I feel like I can't escape you."
"Even if you tried, you will never escape me. I won't ever let you go," Bone said, his gaze burning into me.
I felt my face flush. I could not for the life on me look him in the eyes. He was so handsome and his gaze felt like he knew something about me that I didn't.
Bone would be able to find me. I just knew it. I almost felt some kind of pull towards him. It made me wonder about this mate thing.
"Well, for werewolfs, your mate is the one that is meant for us. This person is all we will ever need, they complete us. Werewolfa have only one mate."
"What happens if you don't find your mate?" I asked.
"Well, there are many different things that can happen. You just might not be destined for one, or you get your mate in another life. Some people reject their mate, which causes the rejected to perish," Bone explained.
"Oh my gosh that's terrible! Who would do such a thing?!" I said, horrified.
"Those with no hearts," Bone said.
"Well, it sounds kind of nice I guess. The fact that there is someone meant for you," I said.
"It is, I'm glad I have mine," Bone said.
"I have to go home," I whispered.
I couldn't stay with Bone. No matter what, I had to escape and get home. To my life.
"What?"
"I can't be your mate," I whispered.
"Like HELL you won't!" Bone yelled.
I flinched away from him. Bone looked absolutely furious.
"Stop!" I cried.
"No!" Bone yelled even louder.
"Your scaring me!" I screamed.
Stunned, Bone shut his mouth. His eyes widened, realizing what he'd done.
"I'm so sorry. My wolf just took control," he apologized.
"I don't care. You have no right. Why can't I go home, leave me alone!" I cried.
I couldn't help the tears running down my face. How could this happen? Why did I have to be his mate? All I wanted was to be normal. Live a normal life.
Suddenly, the car came to a stop. With, swift and fast movements, Bone grabbed my wrist and hauled me out the limo.
"Bone, please wait-AH!" I yelped, tripping over myself.
With inhuman speed, Bone yanked me to him. I fell into his chest, his strong arms wrapping around me. Immediatel I stepped away from Bone. Yet again, the pleasurable sparks hit me again. I would not let myself feel this viluntarily. I can't let myself fail.
"Thank you," I mummbled.
Bone frowned, but said nothing. Looking around, I could see our destination. All I could see was stone. Gray stone, a wall almost. It went as far as the eye could see.
"What is this place?" I asked.
"This is where my pack is, my home. The wall is to protect against rival packs.Everything that is mine is here," Bone said.
The place looked massive.
"How do we get in?" I asked.
"Place your hand anywhere, and in front of you and there will be a keypad. Just type in the password and you'll be fine."
I watched as Bone did just as he told me. The only downside was that I couldn't see the password. He must not want me to see it. That means its probably the same password to exit. I have got to get that password, but how?
I watched as the wall began to become blurry in one large spot. It seemed as if the wall was making us an entrance.By the time the entrance was formed, it was just like a door. Bone took my wrist, pulling me to my fresh new hell.
