We heard the growls first..There were so many, it was crazy. Bone tensed, drawing me closer. I looked around us, knowing we were safe in here. I knew we would be safe, but Bone would rather die than not protect his pact.

"Bone-" I started.

"Mina, I have to protect them!" Bone said.

I looked at him, he looked torn. Weither to protect me, or the hundreds of people he was responsible for.

"Bone, go.I'll be okay. This place is safe," I said.

"I know, but-"

"BONE. GO. I'm fine, I promise. This place is safe, you know it," I said, grabbing his hand for reassurance.

Bone nodded, quickly kissing my head before running to a wall. He placed his hand on the wall and a hole appeared in the wall. Bone left, the hole closing immediately.

Immediatetly, I started to panic. Without Bone, I felt vulnerable. It was stupid, I had wanted him to go, but I was new to this. I am human, I can't change into a big wolf. Oh my God, what if one gets in here. I was locked in a high tech dungeon, with a bunch of criminals.

I looked around me, seeing a wall that had a bunch of weapons. I ran over to it, looking the weapons over. I took something that resembled a metal pole, but it was really light. I also found a sword. Feeling a little bit better, I went back to the center of the room. I wanted to see anything from any direction.

I am a shy, and timid girl. So I have no clue where my sudden braveness was coming from. Maybe it was because there were scary mythical creatures threatening Bone and his pack. Maybe it was because I was alone, the only one who could protect myself was me.

All I knew was that I had to do everything I could to protect myself. I dropped the pole-thingy on the ground. Just as I dropped it, I heard it. A growl. It had to be close by, maybe just outside.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Okay, now I'm nervous. Oh my cornflakes, an actual freaking werewolf was outside. This felt like walking in the woods and hearing bigfoot.

I heard scratching, like it was really trying to get in. I was nervous, yet calm. It was like this instinct came over me. I had to protect this place. The scratching stopped, I breathed out a sigh of relief.

Hopefully, whatever that was had moved on. I relaxed a little bit, trying to calm my beating heart. That's when I heard it, the growl. I heard it, ringing my ears. I felt the breath on my whole back. Goosebumos raised all over my skin.

I turned around, coming face to face with the monster. It was eo big, it towered over me. How could a wolf be so big?  I stepoed back as it eyed me. Suddenly, ut growled. The wolf growled so feriously, I could just tell that that growl was meant to show what it wanted. To hurt me.

I was just shaking with fear. I couldn't move. My brain wasn't working, my legs wouldn't move. I felt like everything was in slow motion, I could only hear ringing.

When they say your life flashes before your eyes, it's really true. I saw myself before I was kidnapped. I always stayed home on friday nights. I never went to football games, or to prom. I rarely hung out with friends. I saw myself when I was kidnapped. I didn't really live then.

I had given up. I had lost hope of ever being found, so I just went with it. Then I saw myself with Bone's pack. I saw the good times, the bad. I was actually LIVING. Bone gave me life, and I will be damned if I let something or someone take it away.

"NO!" I yelled, I was not going to die.

I swung my arms up, swinging the sword. The large wolf was caught off guard. It didn't react quick enough when I lodged the sword in it's shoulder.

The wolf howled out in pain. I tried to get the sword out of it's shoulder, but it wouldn't budge. That's bad. I quickly let go, running to the pole-thingy.

I grabbed it just in time. I turned around, screaming when the wolfe was right behind me. It had the sword out of it's shoulder. I don't know how, but it was just lying on the ground. The wolf snarled at me, angry that I could overpower it for even a second.

I kicked it, but it didn't even budge.Instead it just blinked at me, not moving. The wolf then sat down, right in front of me. Okay, this is weird. Why isn't it trying to chew my head off? I tried to get around it, but it growled, warning me.

Is it trying to keep me here? I knew now that I was helpless. If I tried to move, it would probably bite my head off.

I don't know how long I sat there. Maybe an hour. The wolfe had just sat there, staring at me. Silently daring me to move. I didn't, I wasn't stupid.

Suddenly, I heard something opening. I looked to see Bone. I gasped, he looked like a mess. He was covered in blood, his clothes dirty and his hair a mess. He looked ready to kill, with blood red eyes. He had these long fangs. His top and bottom inscissors elongated and sharp.

Bone roared. It shook the walls, it shook my bones. Bone looked ready to kill, out of control.
