Chapter 18

"Bone he has her! He took Beth from me!" I sobbed.

"I'm so sorry Mina. We'll get her, I swear it!"

    Bone grabbed my wrists, pulling me close to him. I cried into his chest. Bone hugged me tightly, whispering soothing words in my ear.

"What am I going to do? I don't know where she is, I don't know how to even start!"

"I will find that start. I 'll get a search party and get everything sorted out," Bone reassured.

"It's not th- thank you. I'm just baffled at how he managed to twist my thoughts to FORGET about my OWN sister!"

"It will be okay, I will not let my mate suffer. I am a powerful Alpha, and I will get your sister back!"

"Thank you Bone," I said.

   I was so defestated that I couldn't think. My thoughts were not processing in my head. All I could think of was if Beth was safe or not.

   I collasped on my bed, to drained to do anything. In the morning, it would be time to get to work. For now, I was going to wallow. After awhile I heard Bone come in. I knew he knew I was awake, yet he didn't say anything. I didn't really want him to.

   I shivered when I felt a soft, warm blanket cover me. The bed dipped as Bone got in bed with me. He pulled me closer to him. His warmth calmed me down.I turned over, snuggling into his chest. Bone's arms wrapped around me, giving me a quick squeeze.

"I'm scared," I whispered.

"I know. I'll fix it."

   It was about three days later when Bone came to me.

"Mina I think I know where they are," Bone said.

"Where?" I said, a rush of hope surging through me.

"We caught a strong scent just a few miles away from our border. The area has a house that is secluded immensely with greenery but we were able to hear his voice as well. So this is our best shot Mina," Bone explained.

   I immediately hugged him.

"Thank you Bone!" I exclaimd giving him a long searing kiss.

"Be careful there Mina. Don't provoke my wolf at a time like this. I just marked you and my wolf and I are literally dying to complete the mating process."

Blushing, I immediately moved away.

"So when can we go?" I asked.

"Well I can go immediately.."

"What, no! That's my sister I have to go!" I argued.

"Mina please you'll just get hurt!" Bone groaned.

"If I can't come then you can forget about completing anything!"

"Fine" Bone said, "You are killing me I swear!"

"Okay let me get changed ang we can go!" I said, shooing Bone out.

   Quickly I got dressed in the bathroom since I didn't trust Bone not to peep. I got dressed in black legging with a slightly oversized grey t-shirt. I pulled my long hair up and into a high ponytail.

  Bone and I met by the front door. He slid a silver knife in my hand.I gave hima confused look.

"Every supernatural force has a weakness. Silver is ours. Use this in Seb if I get too hurt to protect you. I doubt that will happen but something is up with him if he can manipulate thoughts."
