A couple days later, I found myself in the kitchen. I had been  doing my best to keep myself away from Seb. Thankfully, he didn't go out of his way to track me down. I'd spent more time with Bone.

We had a really great talk, it felt like we were finally on the same page. Since things were going so well, I decided to make some dinner for just the two of us. I was making greek lasagna with salad and garlic bread. I had just gotten the lasagna in the oven.

The previous day I made the bread dough, so I got that out and began to make the garlic bread.

"Smells good."

I turned around, looking Seb in the eye.

"Yes, I'm making dinner for Bone. He works hard with his pack," I stiffly answered.

  "Sounds housewife-ish," Seb snorted.

"Just because I'm making him dinner doesn't mean I'm a housewife got it?" I said, crossing   my arms.

"Fine," Seb said, walking away.

I breathed out a sigh of relief at his retreating form. With my focus back into place, I began to finish the dinner.

After the food was cooked, I put it in dishes and set it on the table. I poured a glass of wine for Bone and water for myself. Just as I put down the utensils, I heard the front door open.

"Mina?" Bone called out.

"In here!" I called back.

I stood there nervously, pulling my brown hair from my face.Bobe came in the dining room, a look of suprise on his face.

"Wow Mina, this looks amazing!" Bone said, his eyes going to the food, then me.

Bone looked me up and down, taking in every detail.

"You look beautiful," Bone said, a dangerous glint in his eye.

I blushed, happy he liked everything. Bone came towards me, pulling my chair out for me. We sat down, enjoying the meal.

"So, what inspired you for this?"Bone asked.

"You've worked so hard and we finally worked things out. I just thought I'd do something nice."

"Well, I needed this. Enjoying your company is all I need,"Bone said.

The rest of the evening was honestly one of the best days of my life. Being with Bone, made me complete.

Around ten oclock I was lying in my bed when I heard a knock on the door. I got up, opening the door to see Seb standing behind the door. A sigh of annoyance left my lips as soon as I saw him.

"What do you want?" I said.

"I am your mate, so I am entitled to spend time with you," Seb said, giving me a dark look.

I wanted to slap him. I really did.

"You aren't entitled to anything. Don't speak of me as if I am an object!" I snapped.

"You are mine!" Seb said, grabbing on to my wrist.

"I'm not anyone's!" I yelled.

Suddenly, Seb pulled me to him. He backed me up against the wall, putting his hands on either side of my head. I didn't look at him. Seb wasn't having that, he turned my face to meet his.

"Little mate, you don't understand how terrible it is to not have your mate. I will be damned if I let you go," Seb said.

There was one weird thing that happened everytime Seb touched me.I didn't feel the sparks. I could not for the life of me feel any sparks. I had no desire to be near him. In fact, I'd be glad if I never saw him again. How was he my mate if I didn't even want to be around him?

"I don't feel it," I snapped.

"Feel what?" Seb asked.

"Sparks. I feel sparks when I touch Bone, but not you. I actually WANT to touch Bone and be around him. When I'm with you, all I want is to get away," I said.

Seb growled. His expression told me he was suprised and angry. I didn't care. Some guy can't come in my life and start claiming me.

Seb stepped closer to me, if that was even possible. I turned my head away. I shouldn't have done that.It just gave him perfect access. Seb growled right before I felt a piercing pain in my neck.

He had bitten me. I struggled under him, but he dug his fangs deeper. I opened my mouth to release a silent scream. Seb didn't let me go. My body went slack, Seb held me up as he withdrawled his teeth. Then everything faded.
