I was to busy repeating the word that rhymed with luck in my head. I didn't even notice the delicious looking food placed in front if me. I didn't notice anyone sit down, or give me weird looks. Finally, someone cleared their throat in the awkward silence.

I looked up, catching Bone's gaze. He gave me a knowing grin, but I looked away feeling myself flush. I looked around the large table. There were a couple people there. Luca, Mae, Bone and I, and one other female.

"Mina, this is my cousin Ruby, say hi," Bone said.

I turned to Ruby, smiling. She was the complete opposite of Bone. She was very small, with red hair,  and blue eyes.

"Hello Ruby, my name is Mina. Your cousin Bone kidnapped me." I said bluntly.

Ruby started laughing then. Honestly, I had hoped she would take pitt on me, but she didn't. Great. This just felt truthful that everyone was truly loyal to Bone. Nothing worked in my favor anymore.

"I like her," Ruby said l.

I managed a small smile. Right now, I felt two different ways. One side, I wasn't hating the fact that I was being treated nicely. Even if this kidnap thing happened, I was being treated pretty fairly. No one so much as tried to hurt me. Everyone seemed very nice.

Yet, the fact that I had been kidnapped AGAIN sucked. Bone wouldn't let me go, he wanted me to love him. That fantasy was insane. How could I love someone who held me against my will?

I'm not gonna pretend that Bone isn't attractive, or that I don't believe this whole mates thing. I do believe it, and thats scary. I didn't wanna be that girl who fell in love with their kidnapper. Yet those girls weren't mated to an Alpha werewolf who was hot and charming.

This whole thing was confusing. I just didn't want to be me right now.

After breakfast, I went up to my room, but I couldn't even sit without a knock at the door. I opened it, revealing Mae.

"Hey, just wanted to see if you wanted to take a walk. I wanted to show you the pack territory," Mae explained, a hopeful expression on her face.

"Sure."

I needed to get out, clear my head. I wasn't gonna try to escape either. There were so many werewols out anyway. Mae led me out the house and to the forest. Seeing this made me realize how big this pack really was.

"Look Mina, I know what its like to be taken away from everything you know," Mae started.

"Wait what? You do?" I asked.

"Yep, wasn't that long ago when Luca found me. I was living in Chicago. I lived in a nice place, had an awesone family. Then one day I'm walking, the next thing I know I'm in a bedroom I've never seen before," Mae explained.

"That's crazy.  Then what?"

"Well, Luca explained everything. It did take me awhile to warm up to him, but once I did I was glad. He keot me from my family, but when he took me he told my family everything."

"So your family knew where you were?"

"Yes, they took it quite well. My mother was a werewolf actually and knew that day would come, when I would meet my mate. My family knew Luca would take care of me, and he has," Mae said.

"Do you think my parents know?" I asked.

"Maybe. If they don't, its because Bone hasn't found them yet."

"Wow. Even if my mother and father know where I am, its still wrong to keep me here," I muttered.

"I know, but if you and Bone would be apart, it would end badly. You would get sick, he might die, things like that," Mae said.

"Yeah, I get it," I said.

"Well, a little chilly for a walk isn't it?" a voice called out.

Mae and I turned around, seeing a smirking Bone.

"We were having fun until you showed up," I said.

Bone's smile faltered a little, but he quickly recovered.

"Well, I'll leave you two alone," Mae said, walking away.

I reached out to her, but she didn't see me. Before I knew it Mae had disappeared. Ugh. I turned around, feeling Bone's presence behind me.

"Ya know pretty soon you-"

"DON'T!" I yelled, cutting Bone off.

He didn't look suprised. His eyes darkened, he took a step towards me but I didn't step down.

"What?" Bone mummered darkly.

"Don't say "you will love me!" I don't want to love you! I would never love someone who held me against their will!"

"It does-"

"You have no right! How dare you have the audacity to think I could ever love you! You're selfish and a monster!" I yelled, rushing past Bone.

He grabbed my arm, pulling me back. Bone backed me up agaibst a tree. My back hit the tree, Bone unbearably close.  He leaned down, so our foreheads were almost touching.

"A monster, huh? You have no idea how much of a monster I can really be,"Bone whispered.

"I already know enough," I said.

Bone stared me rown, before smirking. He straightened up, turned around, and walked away. As he left, I couldn't bring myself to yell at him. He was just so powerful, so Alpha male.

After a couple minutes, I had calmed my beating heart. I pushed myself off the tree, walking back where I came. Suddenly, a flash of blonde hair whizzed by.

Confused, I turned around to see a girl. She was tall and slender, with long blonde hair. The girl had blue eyes, fair skin and full lips. She was really pretty. I wanted to punch perfect people sometimes.

"Saw you with my toy earlier," the girl said.

"Toy?" I asked.

What the hell did she mean? Had this girl really called Bone her toy?

"Bone. Ya know he may be with you now, but he always come crawling back to me," she said, smirking.

I opened my mouth to respond, but in a blink of an eye she was gone. What a bitch, did she really call Bone her toy? The girl insintuated that her and Bone had been together before. I had to ask myself why I even cared.

It should't matter that Bone dated others in the past. It shouldn't bother me, but it did and I hated it.
