Sequel to Dear Nick. This story continues where Dear Nick left off, in the epilogue. If you haven't read Dear Nick, read it to see how they began. Their love is deep & pure, having been perfect since they finally got on the same page. Now, their per...
"Do you?" I asked again, this time in a louder voice, so Nick would answer me.
He turned his head to look at me. "I'd like to think that there isn't something going on with you two, but he seems like... it's like he's in love with you & wants you to leave me for him."
I looked up at the ceiling, quickly, taking in a deep breath. "Nick... for the last fucking time, we were friends." I said with my teeth together, since I was so angry that he wasn't getting that nothing happened with me & Zac.
"You're not telling me something. I can see it in your face."
I rolled my eyes & shook my head. "You're right. There was another reason he wanted to take me to lunch today."
"He took you to lunch huh?" Nick smirked, but looked annoyed.
"I paid for myself. Sorry... wrong choice of words. Anyway... he wanted to tell me about the rumors, but he also wanted to tell me that he's the reporter who will be doing your interview, on Monday."
"Are you fucking serious?" Nick asked, tossing the remote on the table & standing up. He started pacing the floor, shaking his head. "I'm not doing it. I don't know why they asked him...but I'm not doing it."
"I told him that you wouldn't do it & he wanted me to talk you into it. He said they asked him because he wrote the article & had some insight on you, as a person."
"Insight on me & my wife...." Nick muttered, running his hand over his head, in frustration.

"You will be with the other guys, for the interview, so maybe it won't be so bad."
Nick stopped pacing to stare at me. "You actually want me to do this interview?"
"Only if you want to."
"Is it because it's going to be a big break for your boy, Zac?"
I let out an angry groan & stood up. "Stop it! Nothing happened with me & Zac except for those two kisses & they meant nothing to me. I am married. I am in love with my husband. I do not have feelings for him, so can you trust me please?"
"What were you two talking about at the press conference yesterday?"
I scowled at Nick, feeling this urge to slap him, since he didn't seem to be listening to a word I was saying. "Nothing." I answered, through gritted teeth.
"It wasn't nothing. I saw the photo of you two that was online today & my mom said you looked like you were having a very serious conversation."
"He just wanted to apologize for the way he acted the other day, when he saw you were alive. That's all. It really was nothing." I put my hands on my hips & lifted an eyebrow, in a cocky way.
"You're not telling me something, Demi. Do you forget that I have known you since you were six years old? I can read you like a book & I have this feeling...."
