Kakashi P.O.V.

After Nanami and Naruto headed home I went to The Hokage's office. The thought of Nanami possibly being pregnant scared me, but at the same time excited me.

After knocking I heard a 'come in' and proceeded to do so.

"Ah, your team is back. How was the mission?"

"It was chaotic, a lot of different events all happening at once, but they managed. Overall, the mission was a success. The bridge builder finished the bridge, interestingly naming it The Great Naruto Bridge, and the only fatalities were Zabuza Momochi and Haku Yuki, who in the end realized we weren't the enemy. My team was persistent on continuing with the mission even after knowing it was of a higher rank. They proved their potential to me therefore both Nanami and myself allowed it."

"What was the reason for the bridge builder's lie?"

"Shortage on money, brought by the man who wanted him dead."

I proceeded to explain the mission in detail.

"Thanks that's all for the mission. Nanami informed me of your move."

"Um yes, both Nanami and Naruto seemed to be fond of the idea and we've agreed, I'll be moving in tomorrow."

"Very well then, I'll have someone help you with your move and please take good care of them. They can sometimes act so childish, hopefully Nanami doesn't become a bother."

I laughed at The Hokage's worries.

"They will never become a bother." I reassured. "If anything I think I'll be the bother."

We both laughed freely before The Hokage spoke.

"Recently I caught wind of a possible danger for Nanami, that's why I called her back, but as stubborn as she is she convinced me to let her go back. I just ask for you to take good care of the two. You'll have the nine-tails jinchuriki and the holder of the Demon of the Sea, who are both highly sought, to take care of. I fully trust you and I ask of you to make them both happy, no need to spoil them rotten just love them. They are both humble humans who only desire love to be happy, they don't care for material, but rather for the feelings. Both of them truly deserve it."

"I am greatly humbled by your faith in me and I promise I will protect them both with my life. I'll make sure to always keep them happy." I replied with a respectful bow.

He excused me while urgently ushering me to return to Naruto and Nanami.

Nanami P.O.V

"Mom, can we sleep in the living room?"

"Will it be comfortable for you?"

"Believe it!"

I smiled at his energetic answer before replying, "We'll ask Kakashi for his opinion as well, but in my case it seems like a good idea."

Naruto danced around happily before running into the kitchen to retrieve the Dango he had purchased. He plopped himself on the couch and began to eat them without any sign of sharing. I sat next to him and reached to his lap, where the Dangos were located, to have him move them away from me.

"Hey, I want some."

"No, these are mine." He replied with a childish pout and held the Dango closer to himself.

"Share!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Nuh uh!" He replied with a stuffed mouth.

I reached again and he moved them further. This time I reached over to the Dango leading to me practically squashing Naruto beneath me, yet he still did everything in his power to hold them away from me.

"Stop being mean and share!"

"I don't want to!"

"I asked for them!"

"I bought them!"

"With my money!"

Still reaching and smacking in an attempt to reach further Naruto and I had been unaware of Kakashi's entrance.

"What are you two doing?"

"Help! Mom is squishing me!" Naruto shouted.

"Naruto won't share the Dango!"

"Nanami there are plenty more on the kitchen table just get some of those."

"That requires walking! These are closer!"

Kakashi chuckled at the scene before him, "you two really do act childish."

Both Naruto and I turned to him, briefly, with a slight glare before we continued our fight for Dango.

"If I give you one will you stop squishing me?!"

"Yes!"

Naruto immediately brought the Dango closer to me and I took several.

"We agreed on one!"

"No we didn't!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Keep it down you two will wake the entire village."

I pouted and crossed my arms turning my head to the side with a huff, Naruto did the same turning opposite from me.

"Let's just watch the movie." Suggested Kakashi.

Naruto and I remained in our position until Kakashi returned wearing comfortable clothing alike Naruto and myself. Kakashi played the movie and put the Dango in front of Naruto and I.

"You two are going to have to learn to share and stop fighting. You are Mother and Son not Brother and Sister so learn to give each other the appropriate respect."

He looked back and forth at us until we turned our gaze to him. From my peripheral vision I could see Naruto looking at me with sadness.

"I'm sorry Mom, I don't want to loose you so I'll learn to stop disrespecting you like this. He's right, we are Mother and Son not Brother and Sister so I need to respect you differently."

I turned to Naruto with a smile and pulled him into a hug.

"I love you Sweetie and I like this relationship we have. I know you respect me, but this is just a typical little fight between people who are close to each other. Who knows how many opportunities like this we'll have in the future so let's just enjoy them as they come."

He nodded against my shoulder as I rubbed his head. I looked up at Kakashi and opened my arms for him to join the hug, Naruto too looked at him and did the same. Kakashi joined us with a noticeable smile beneath his mask. With Naruto squished in between Kakashi and me I thanked him.

"Thanks Kakashi."

He chuckled, "No need to."

"Can't.... breath." Naruto gasped.

We immideatly released him and began to laugh.

At that very moment we were so happy. Filled with an unimaginable happiness we had all longed for.

There is a warmth only a family can provide, and at that moment we all got to experience that foreign warmth.
