(3rd POV)
It has already been 5 years since Nanami came to Konoha. She was raised by the Hokage and unintentionally grew to see him as a father figure. She alongside Asuma start the ninja academy tomorrow.
"Mimi have you seen dad ?"
"No I haven't seen pops anywhere, why do you ask ?"
"We start the academy in two days and I need a few things "
"Oh nuggets in two days?! We need to find him now!! I need clothes ... I need...a lot of things! Asu!! Come on let's go search for him!!!"
Over the years the two had become close and gave each other nicknames. Asuma decided Mimi would be Nanami's because he said it fit her perfectly,whatever that means, Nanami gave Asuma the nickname Asu 'just because',in her own words.
The two were now running around the village like lunatics(mostly Nanami) looking for the Hokage and asking shop owners if they had seen him only to receive a "No sorry I haven't seen him today". Nanami suddenly ran into someone and fell with her face straight on the dirt and her body on the person. She was immediately lifted of the ground by Asuma.
"Mimi are you ok? You should watch where you're going next time." he said.
"Yeah whatever, I'm fine Asu thanks," she said.
She then held out her hand to help up the silver haired kid she ran into
"Hey,sorry for running into you. Like my brother said I should be more careful."
The kid got to his feet with the help of the girl in front of him as he said, "It's ok you didn't see me that's all I'm fine see," he was showing her how he had no scratches from their previous situation. She giggled at his actions only to have Asuma interrupt them by saying
"Hey I found dad come on let's go!" as he dragged Nanami away not giving either kid time to introduce themselves. Asuma and Nanami ran over to the Hokage hand in hand yelling "There you are!" The Hokage turned around to see his two children hand in hand pointing a small finger at him accusingly. He gave them a closed eye smile and asked
"Aww were my two little ninja looking for me ?"
The two kids nodded as an answer as Asuma spoke," we couldn't find you anywhere,"
"Ohh well as you can see I was simply admiring the view", he pointed at the sun that had just managed to peak over the Hokage Mountain at such an early hour.
"Wow that looks pretty," Nanami said in awe.
"Yes,it does sweety but of course nothing will ever beat your beauty" Hiruzen said to a now blushing Nanami.
"Yeah dad is right you are prettier than everything" assured Asuma.
"Aww thanks you guys are sweet" Nanami answered with a bigger blush.
Hiruzen then kneeled down to the height of the two 5 year olds directly in front of Nanami as he raised his hand to her scraped cheek.
"What happened you're bleeding? Did Asuma throw his toy car at you again?" He asked worriedly as he glared at Asuma.
"No,it wasn't Asu I ran into a boy when we looked for you and fell. I think I got scratched by the little rocks I fell on. I didn't even know I was hurt" she answered reassuringly. Hiruzen smiled at both kids as he placed a hand on each of their cheeks.
"I assume you two needed something or why exactly were you looking for me?"
"Yes dad we need clothes for the academy we start in two days" answered Asuma
"Ohh,haha right you need clothes how could I forget. Oh and by the way you actually start tomorrow". The two kids looked at each other with a bit of fear brought by the news as they dragged Hiruzen to the nearest clothing store. Once outside the store Hiruzen remembered
"Oh right, Nanami here let me put this over your boo boo to stop it from bleeding" as he placed a bandage over her 'boo boo'. Nanami smiled in thanks and walked into the store with her small family.
(Nanami POV )
Yay! We are finally done with all the boring shopping.
"Hey dad can we go get some food ?" asked Asu
"Sure what do you guys want to eat?"
"I want ramen what about you mimi?"
"Yes! Ramen pwease pwitty pwease" I asked dad with pleading eyes.
"Haha well of course anything for my two babies"
Usually I get mad at him calling me a baby,but I didn't care right now I just want ramen.
"Yes! Ramen!" Asu and I said together as we fist bumped
"I could eat like 30 bowls of ramen right now" I said truthfully
"Haha yeah we know mimi but then you won't eat for weeks"
"Uhu will too as long as it's ramen".
We were all laughing at my love for ramen as we walked to ramen heaven,or Ichiraku's for short.
