The others had already reached the base and May was already looking at T. A was helping to her best ability. T was still unconscious, lying on a cot in the training area of the base.
"How is he, May?" K asked worried.
"He should be alright, he took a pretty nasty hit to the head. Not to mention how hard they were kicking him when he was on the ground. He has some bruises on his arm and his side as well." May stated.
"True. They were kicking him pretty hard." A said walking towards everyone.
"How long is he going to be unconscious for?" Kat asked.
"He should be up in a few hours at the most, but he's gonna be sore for a while." May responded looking over at Kat.
"How long is he going to be sore for?" K asked looking over at the unconscious T.
"Sore a few days, a week at the most. But I'd say based on these bruises, he gonna be sensitive for a few weeks." May responded.
They all then walked into the main room and sat down at the couches they have there.
"So no heists for a few weeks?" Kat brought up.
"I'm sure T would want us to still do some, but we would have to complete them by ourselves." K stated.
"He could plan it, but not go through." A interjected.
"But knowing T, he's gonna wanna go with us. He's not going to care that he could become in more critical condition than he already is. But he really needs to rest." May added.
K got up and walked into the training room where T was. She pulled up a chair just as he was starting to wake up. He fluttered his eyes open, being blinded by the light directly above him. K noticed him squinting and got up to dim the lights slightly. She turned the knob to not blind T.
"Sorry about the lights. May had them pretty bright to see what exactly was wrong with you." K said, rubbing the back of her neck.
"No it's fine. Just a little surprise awakening from the blinding light." T said, gaining a smile from both K and himself. There was a long pause of silence.
"How you feeling?" K asked breaking the silence in the room.
"I'm fine, just kind of sore on my sides. Although I don't remember much of what happened though. What happened anyways?" T responded in wonder.
"Well what do you last remember?" K quickly asked.
"Umm. I remember being punched by M but that's really it." T said rubbing his left cheek where M had punched him.
"Well N and H started kicking you in the sides. That's why you have bruises there and you're sore there. After a while you went unconscious. May and A brought you back to the base as me and Kat held them off long enough to escape." K explained.
"Makes sense. How long was I out?" T asked.
"You were out for a few hours. Not that long, but we were all worried." K said.
"How long am I gonna be sore for?" T asked.
"Uh I think May said like a few days, but she said you're going to be fragile for at least a few weeks." K said.
"Great. This is like what happened two months ago." T said slightly annoyed leaning his head back on to the pillow A put behind his neck.
"Stop blaming yourself for that, alright? You couldn't have done anything to protect him and you know that." K said seriously.
"I know I couldn't have done anything but he's my half brother. He's still family in a way." T said.
"I know, but that isn't something to dwell over. Especially if you couldn't do anything. It's those off to the side guys who should feel guilty. I mean they did kill him."
"True. So I will avenge him." T stated.
"You mean we will." K said gaining a confused look from T.
"We are a team, T. We do this stuff together, no matter what. Come on, let's bring you to the main area to talk to the others for a little bit. It's getting kinda late at night anyways." K said helping T up out of the cot.
What T and the others didn't know was that T's half brother didn't want to be found by T.
