T walked under neath the exit from the base. Walking through Union Square at dawn was breathtaking. The San Francisco skyline offering very little light, but thankfully T had the sun's light to see the sidewalk beneath him. He walked all over Union Square, ending his peaceful walk by stopping in front of the Christmas tree the town always puts up for Christmas time.
He was about to go back inside to the base, when he heard footsteps around the corner.
'Who could possibly be up this late at night? It's like 4am or something.' T thought.
Intrigued, he hurried around the corner, following the footsteps.
T turned around the corner to see H facing the off to the side squad.
"Look I just can't stay. I need to leave this group for good reason. I'm not just sit around while my grandpa is dying back home." H stated looking back at the group.
"Just let her go. Her grandfather is sick. She should go back south." Z stated.
"But we need to know more about this corner squad before she leaves." M said, standing up.
"We need her to stay and give us more intel about them." N added.
"If all you want is information about them, get it yourself. I'm done with this arguing always going on." H stated, storming off to her room.
"Z, leave her. She just needs to cool off." M said, grabbing Z's arm.
T heard all of this and ran back to the base. He ran through the secret entrance and or exit he made and got changed into his pajamas. He got into bed and soon fell asleep making sure to not forget what he just heard.
The next morning, the corner squad got a letter through the post and it was from H. She wanted to meet up with the entire group at a coffee shop on the outskirts of San Francisco.
The entire group got ready and met up with H.
"So H, what's the point of meeting up with us? You're from the other group." May mentioned.
"Yes I am, but I'm going to give you information about them." H said.
"Wait, what's the catch?" K asked.
"K, there is no catch. All they do is ask me for information about you. I'm tired of it. That's all I'm there for." H said annoyed.
"So you want to help us?" T stated.
"Yes." H responded.
