Across The Bay

Chapter 12

"Well, we need to find a new base or some place to go." May stated walking alongside her friends.
"Well where are we going to go?" T stated looking over at May.
"I don't know. But we need to find something." A said jogging to catch up with her friends.
"Try to find an abandoned building or something no one would go to. That's what my team did." Dyl uttered, gaining looks from T.
"I mean that's not a bad idea." May stated.
"Well, I think there might be one less than a mile away from here." K thought out loud.
"How would you know?" A questioned.
"I've looked at maps before." K stated.
"Well if there's a building nearby, let's try to find it." May uttered.
The five walked through the city of San Francisco, looking at landmarks as they go. K led the group around to try and find this building. About half a mile down a road, they found an old building.
"I think this is the place." K said turning around to face her friends.
"This place? It's walking distance from the pier. Is that such a good idea?" T questioned.
"It may be nearby to a popular attraction, but no one comes around here. Plus it's an abandoned building, no one will come in here." A interjected as Dyl pushed open the door.
"Well we need to kinda rebuild the inside." K said walking into the building.
"Why not inside and out?" May asked.
"Well if we do the outside, people may actually come this way." T stated, walking inside to inspect the building.
"Well this is going to take a long time." Dyl sighed.
