Renee woke up the next morning to the smell of bacon. She got up off the couch and looked in the mirror that was in the mansions main corridor. Her hair could be housing rats and she wouldn't know. She followed the delicious scent to the kitchen where she saw Marcus standing in front of the oven holding a pan. She walked up behind him
"Hey, good morning."
"Good morning." Marcus said shooting Renee a smile.
"Did you sleep well?" He said turning his focus back to the pan.
"I did, that was actually the best sleep I have had in a while." Marcus smiled to himself when Renee said this. Marcus handed Renee a plate with bacon and bananas on it.
"Bananas?" Renee said, giggling at the odd combination on her plate.
"Yeah, it's a good source of potassium. Also we ran out of eggs." Renee chuckled and took a bite.
"So how did you sleep last night?" Renee asked Marcus swallowing the food she had in her mouth and shoveling another bite in.
"I had the best sleep I had in years. Did you know you snore?" Marcus said. Renee almost chocked on her food. She had forgotten she had fallen asleep on Marcus that night.
"I'm Sorry." She said after swallowing her bite.
"For what? I didn't mind it Renee, I actually kind of liked it." Marcus said pulling the bacon off the pan and onto his plate. He sat next to Renee.
"I think I like you Renee, correction, I know I like you." Marcus said looking at Renee putting his hand on hers.
"Marcus, I feel the same way." Renee said turning herself in her chair to look at him.
"Maybe we should go somewhere tonight, somewhere special." Said Marcus.
"Sure, sounds fun." Renee said taking a bite of her banana.
"Really fun."
