"Are you sure you want to do this?" Detective Murray asks. "Yes, definitely." I answer. The police is the best bet to find Sam and to help me to control my power. The scientist here know how it works. There are a couple of more solars who wanted to help the police. I had just found out about my power and knew what had to be done. They said once the solar threat was done my powers would be taken away. Which I'm fine with, but I have a mission and I won't stop until it's done. I don't know what I'm going to do when I find him, I'll get to it when I get to it. "Ok then. Doctor, do it." The detective says. The doctor nods and starts putting the tracker in. They said it was necessary. They haven't told me what my level was yet, but I don't care. There was a little pain behind my neck, where the tracker was, but it's all right. I am willing to do whatever it takes.

"I can't believe it!" The doctor says. "What? What did you find." Murray says. I have crept up on the door outside of where they are talking. "Well I did as you asked and he seems to be a level 4." The doctor says. "What! That's incredible. This is just what we need to take them down," Murray says excitedly. "But don't tell him. We don't need him to think he doesn't need us. Once he helps us. Put him to sleep and take his powers. He is dangerous, but for now he is dangerous to them." Murray continues. "When can we put him out in the field?" The doctor asks. "As soon as he passes all his tests, he's good to go." Murray answers. The doctor nods and turns to head back. I run back to my room and jump on the bed. A few seconds later the doctor comes in. "Ok John, we'll do a few more tests and you'll be ready to go. Any questions?" The doctor asks. "How many solars are working for you guys?" I ask. "Around 30." He answers. After that he does a few more tests and then he sends me to the training room.

"All right guys, listen up." Daniel says. "We've been assigned a mission." He continues. That got all of our attention. We were in the dorm playing some video games. "This came from Aras himself," as he pulls up a a picture of John, "John Wilcox." He announces. I immediately knew I was being put to the test. "Why do you need John." I ask. "He said you knew him. Well Sam, your friend is a solar now." He says. I'm taken back. I've been around John enough to infect him. "No, that can't be." I say. "Sam this is a good thing. He has climbed the classes. Our mission is too go in get a power level on him and recruit him." Daniel says. "What if he doesn't want to join?" I ask. His face changes to sadness. "No, no. We can't do that." I says standing up. "This is your test Sam. If you don't you will end up like him." Daniel says. I look around at the rest and see their sad faces. They've never killed anyone. "Let's get ready and head out." Daniel says.

Apparently solar group have stolen outfits from the police. The scientist have made these especially for solars. It adapts to your element and sharpens your powers. It's not bulky. It's thin, but has some wires In places. I feels weird though. I'm sweating as we make our way to John. The solars said they had a 'inside man' in the police station. They sent john on his first mission. It was the first time I heard that John had joined the solar task force. I was surprised. Our mission was to evaluate power level, what element his powers our based off of, and recruit if possible. This is a normal process around here. They recruit every chance they get. I wonder how many of them they have recruited, from what I can see there is a ton. Either true believers or solars scared into joining. Then that small group who doesn't want to join, they were never seen again. We all have ear pieces. I still don't buy the, 'steel from the police', I think they have someone, someone smart. I don't know I'll ask about it later. What I do know is the police do have more advanced tech. "Daniel, tell me really, how do we have all this stuff." I say through coms. "Stole it." He said way to quickly. He pauses, "Fine. We have a solar scientist. He was here before the police made new stuff. So he only makes the old stuff, but it still works." He explains. I knew it. That makes sense. This suit still feels awkward, but they said any other cloths would burn up. I had said no they wouldn't, they hadn't before. Then they said to bring my suit case and show me some of my cloths and well, they were burnt a bit. I didn't even notice. The suits are not tight. Their fit perfectly, that why it's weird. John was tracking down a solar. But what he didn't know was, it was a set up. The whole team did not come, they didn't think it was necessary. Of coarse Aras recommends me to go. It's me, Daniel, and Luke. Lincoln is playing bait, because if things go wrong, well, he's made of metal. Michael is guiding us on coms. "You guys are almost there. Lincoln is talking to him right now. 2 minutes away." Michaels says in my ear. I start sweating more. I'm so nervous my powers are acting up. Daniel notices and says, "Calm down. Everything will be alright. If your friend is smart, he will come along. Hey I could request for him on our team." That doesn't fill me with confidence. Just as I think that I hear his voice.
