Celena showed up at the house 20 minutes after she had hung up the phone she knew it was going to be awkward between her and Alec. She wanted things to be better between them but he had asked of her the one thing she promised she would never do, she would never transform a human, whether willing or not. She stood on the foot path looking up at the house, she wanted to help Jessica but she didn’t want to face Alec. As she was procrastinating the front door opened and Alec stood in the doorway. He didn’t say anything just held the door open for her. Once inside Alec paused. He looked at Celena with his deep green eyes, they were sadder than she could ever remember seeing them, she wanted to hug him and tell him that everything was going to be okay, but the wolf inside her warned her that if she did she would only have to say goodbye again. And that is something she couldn’t bring herself to do twice.
“Can I please see her room,” Celena asked welcoming anything to break the silence between them.
“It’s still in the same place it’s always been,” he said but marched up the stairs a head of her. Celena pause only momentarily as she passed Alec’s room, she still remembered the time savannah had barged in and seen Celena and Alec kissing her reaction was priceless, a smile spread across her lips at the memory but she quickly shut it away. Alec slipped through the door way that was savannah’s bedroom and as Celena was about to follow as Jessica’s bedroom door opened.
“it only unlocks from the inside,” he explained as he allowed her into the room. Alec was right it was burned completely blacked the only things that had been left untouched were the ones that were within the closed door of her closet or weren’t touching her walls. The smell of ash and burnt plastic was overwhelming to Celena’s sensitive nose, but there was something else hidden under the putrid smells something Celena couldn’t quite place.
“Would you be able to track her,” Alec asked hopefully.
“I’m a wolf Alexander not a bloodhound,” she reminded him, “but that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to find out where she is.” Celena added after seeing his face fall.
The song hey brother by avicii had started to play as Celena was inspecting the damage, “new ringtone?” Alec asked before Celena realized her brother fane was indeed calling her cell phone.
“Yeah it’s for fane,” she sighed before answering the phone, “speak, or be hurt,” she greeted her brother in a way that was typical for the two alpha’s.
“Lena, its fane,”
“I figured ever heard of caller ID?”
“Listen I need you to come back the pack is going mental,”
“so what your alpha you can deal with them,”
“yeah not when it is the dominants and besides its Romulus who is edging them on,” fane said through the phone, Romulus was fane’s second and the dominants were part of the pack who had a strong will and are willing to take one another out if anything provokes them. There are three levels within a wolf pack, pure-bloods, dominants and submissive. The pure bloods are usually pack leaders the alpha’s and seconds and they have at least one pure blood parent and another parent with wolf blood, dominants are the wolves with dominant tendencies or dominant parents. Submissive are usually the wolves who are bitten by another, but sometimes dominant children are born submissive by nature and there for that is there classing. It is rare that 2 pure bloods will have a child together but in the case of Celena and Fane both of their parents were pureblood, meaning that they hold the highest rank with in the pack, and one of the highest ranks in the world of wolves.
“Fine I’ll be there in 10, try to keep them from killing each other,” she sighed and hung up the phone. “I’m sorry Alec. My idiot of a brother can’t control the pack for half an hour without a fight breaking out,”
