Celena and Alec walked hand in hand to the subway station. On the train they sat side by side. Nothing seemed awkward between them. "So where does this leave us now?" Alec asked after some serious debating inside.

"I have literally no idea," she sighed leaning her head on Alec's shoulder. "We are where we want to be for now."

"For now?" Alec asked shrugging her off so that he faced her.

"It's not something I can explain in public," she nodded towards a teenage girl who was pretending not to stare.

"No I want an explanation,"

"It's not exactly normal, I promise I will explain it too you just not here and not now,"

Alec sighed he knew he had lost the argument as soon Celena used her alpha voice. A voice that no one could argue with even Alec.

"You know it's unfair when you use that voice," he sighed and fiddled with her hair

"I know but a lot of the time I can't help it," she sighed and placed her head back in the crook of Alec's neck, "but it does come in particularly helpful when I want something,"

"Like what?" Alec whispered drawing swirling patterns on her jeans with his slender fingers.

"I'll let you figure that out for yourself," she sat up straight and stretched out her legs, "come on, this is our station,"

They walked silently to the apartment that was the home of the only Jason Platt in Brooklyn.

Alec knocked on the door and was surprised when his adoptive sister opened the door wearing nothing but a guy's shirt. She closed the door and Alec heard the lock click into place. "Jessica I know you're in there open this door,"

"Who's Jessica?" a man about 20 asked opening the door for a second time

"My sister," snapped Alec, you know the girl who just open this door,"

"I'm sorry you must be hallucinating I don't know anyone named Jessica and I am the only one in this apartment," he said attempting to close the door but Alec's had shot out and pushed it back as he pushed past the man.

"Do you mind?"

"Alec you can't just barge into other people's apartments,"

"Jace I told you not to open that door,"

"Jessica what the hell happened to your bedroom?"

The quartet's arguments all seemed to blur into one sentence.

Jessica stormed out of the room and was followed by Alec into a large bedroom.

"Do you mind?" She asked as she grabbed a pair of her jeans off the floor and squeezed into them, tucking the shirt in as she did so.

"Not really no, I do on the other hand mind that your room was charred to a crisp, and you never even considered calling or messaging us to let us know where you had gone,"

"Well considering I didn't have my phone and I didn't particularly want you to meet him I think it is a fair enough to say I didn't really consider it,"

"And the reason you didn't want me to meet him ?"

"He has a name," called Jason from the living room

"Well encase you hadn't noticed he is a warlock and your father absolutely despises all demonics. Which you have obviously forgotten includes fairies vampires cani-lupus and WARLOCKS!"

"Jesus Jess you think I don't know that I left because he was being the arrogant asshole he always he always is and shoving the hole Celena thing down my throat as if I didn't feel bad enough,"
