"Jess sit down, he'll be here," Jason said in care free tone momentarily looking up from his book. Jessica was pacing the length of his small apartment. Muttering to her self. Alec had said he would be back before 6. It was now 7:30 and Jess was starting worry.

"What if fane found him, or they got into argument and Celena shifted. What if his hurt, or worse, what if he is dead?" She paced back and forth running her hands through her curly hair pulling her hair into a pony tail. She wore her fighting gear and her heavy boots made loud thumping noises with each steps

"Jess calm down he probably just lost track of time."

"Loosing track of time does not mean you are an hour and a half late loosing track of times means you are twenty minutes late." She snapped and a rough wind broke through the apartment. So rough that several items of furniture fell over.

"Jess calm down, he will be here," Jason put down his book and went over to her he placed a hand on her shoulder and looked into her eyes the wind died down and came to a completely stop and the air was still again.

"Sorry." She mumbled

"There's nothing to be sorry about he is your brother," Jason sighed pulling her into a hug

They broke apart at the sound of some one knocking on the door.

"Alec," Jess said before fleeing towards the door. "Where on earth have ... Alec?" Jess opened the door and was about to start yelling at her adoptive brother for being late. But was startled to see him being supported by Fane and Celena Delunne with blood pouring out of three parallel gashes traveling from the right side of his forehead to the left side of his chin cutting across both his eyes. "Come in,"

"What the hell happened," Jason asked looking over the bloodstained face of Alec Hawthorne

"You can help him?can't you?" Celena pleaded with him

"Where do you want him," Fane shrugged under Alec's weight.

"Jason please help him," Jessica looked deep into his eyes.

"Put him in there," Jason pointed to his own bedroom. And fane and Celena limped into it Alec's feet dragging on the floor behind him. "Jess, call Chris, I don't think your going on patrol tonight."

"I want to make sure he is okay first." She crossed her arms and tried to walk toward the room.

Jason moved into her way. "He will be okay i promise, I have dealt with Cain-lupus attack wounds before I just can't have anyone in the room and it will take a while so please just call Chris."

Jess sighed defeated and allowed Jason to walk away from her and into the bedroom less than a minute later Fane emerged dragging a very distraught Celena behind him. He sat her down in one of the dinning chairs and got a bag of peas out of the freezer holding it to Celena's head while she gripped her legs so hard that nail marks began to form before swelling with red blood.

"Lena. Stop it. Here hold this." Fane ordered lifting her hands to the bag of peas, she did what she was commanded to do but sat with tears in her eyes. She chewed her lip nervously and her leg bounced uncontrollably. She looked as if the world around her was about to crumple as if she was balancing on the edge of a knife.

"What happened?" Jessica managed to croak out. She was addressing Fane who seemed to be able to answer at the moment.

"I'm not quite sure I came into the lobby Celena was on the ground with blood pouring from her head and Alec was fighting with Sergei Renwick, the coward submitted before attacking Alec again,"

"Why would Alec fight a wolf , especially unarmed it's not like him he has more of a brain than that,"

"As I said I don't know what happened," he looked sadly at Celena before sighing, "I'm going to have to get back, you going to be okay."
