Alec walked idling around the house he really didn’t want to be there, here he had memories. Memories of playing hide and seek with Jessica when she had come visiting from London, but his favorite memories were the ones of Celena sneaking into his bedroom late at night. He missed Celena, More than he missed anybody else he wanted to feel the soft beating of her heart, wanted to hear her childish giggles he wanted to be captured in her silvery eyes. But most of all Alec wanted to kiss the soft tender lips of the alpha. Alec missed Celena more than he missed anyone else in the world. He hated to admit it but Alec Hawthorne missed Celena Delunne more than anyone he had ever known even more than his own mother who had died only 2 years ago. The difference between missing someone who had died and missing someone you loved was that although you loved the person who had died they were gone forever. But with those who were still living they are off living a life without you one they seem happy with and you are left watching from the sidelines as the only person who holds your heart moves on.

'Alec I am sick of you moping around ignoring everyone, I understand you need space but you need to stop moping, you know I will listen when you want to talk trust me Alec I won't tell a soul and you will feel better once you have spoken about it,' his sister Jessica had always been there for him even though they were not biologically related they were still family. But Alec had blown her off when she tried to help him, those words were the latest she had said to him and they were the words that hit the hardest. Alec had tried to talk about it with Celena but whenever he rang he was sent to voice mail when he texted the messages went unanswered

Maybe he was going about it the wrong way maybe he didn't need to tell Celena what had gone wrong   maybe he needed to talk to someone who would keep his secret he went to Jessica's room, he had heard Jessica and her brother Luke arguing and knew that she would of locked herself in her bedroom until both of them had calmed down. 'considering the fact that Luke is still locked in his room and Jessica didn't come out for dinner or breakfast I think it is safe to assume they are still pissed,' he thought to himself

When he got to her room he knocked, there was no reply not so much as a whisper came from the other side of the door. He tried the handle. Locked, Jessica never locked her door, no matter how much of a bad mode she was in, 'that's weird,' Alec thought. Jessica and savannah had a joining bathroom rather than having to fight over bathroom time the Alec and Luke shared a bathroom and so did the girls.

Savannah's door was open music was blaring out of the open doorway.

He slipped through the door way and laying across the center of her bed reading some magazine was his sixteen year old sister savannah her long mouse brown hair hung in a loose braid with her fringe covering her eyes . "What the hell Alec, ever heard of knocking," she shouted above the music.

"I need to use your bathroom," he lied with a mumble before walking towards the small bathroom

"What about yours or dads, and the last time I checked you were a guy and were able to use the garden as your toilet," she yelled throwing a pillow at him.

His face fell he knew whatever he said was only going to make thing worse between him and his sister. She had given up on the sympathy act a long time ago and was now using hard love to get him back to usual but it hadn't worked so far. He slipped into the small bathroom and was grateful to see that Jessica hadn't locked the door dividing her bedroom and the bathroom.

It swung easily on its hinges. The smell of ash hit Alec's nose as soon as he pushed the door open. The walls were charred and blackened the curtains hung raggedly over the window. It looked as if it belonged in a haunted house not in the house he had grown up in.  Jessica was nowhere to be seen

He walked back out through Savannah's room and went straight into Luke's room. "Dude ever heard of knocking," Luke said in a monotone voice looking up from his computer screen.
