Get Out

I’m not in here.
The person who used to inhabit this room no longer exists.
You have driven him out,
And now I want no part of this charade.

I can’t take this anymore,
Why do you continue to harass me,
Even after I’ve already been broken.
Into a million pieces?

You are not welcome here,
And neither is anyone else,
Who has ever tried to hurt me.
Get out.

If you don’t listen to me now,
And you open that door,
You will find something,
You won’t be able to unsee.

You will try to wash your eyes,
You will try to sleep it off,
And you will try to run away,
But the memory will always haunt you.

So if you open this door,
And see what may be beyond,
All I have to say is this:
You did this to me.

This is YOUR FAULT,
Not mine.
You are the ones who did this to me,
So stay out of this room.
