Hey guys!!!! OMG so puck drop was last night!! I can't believe it! The leafs lost *tear* but Matthews did freaking amazing. And the Blues won (the blues are at least a little better than the hawks. Cause ya know I'm a Wild fan *fist pump* and proud).

I need some more requests for players so please message me your requests! Just a name of a player is all you need. If you want a specific scene or series of events just let me know and I will do one for you as soon as I can.

Also, please comment or let me know if you actually read my author's notes at the beginnings of all my chapters. Otherwise, if you guys don't read them then why waste my time writing them? Kay well thank you all for reading!!

I love all of my readers and I hope that you like these imagines enough to vote for them! If you are interested, please check out my other story! I would appreciate all the views and votes I can get.

Anyways, let's focus on one of the best players of the current hockey world: Connor McDavid.

1200+ words. Enjoy!

"Connor! What do you think of you're new nickname?" One of the interviewers asks at the post training camp press conference in the dressing room.

He looks over at me, a confused expression on is features. My eyes open a little more than the normally do in an effort to get him to answer her.

"What nickname are you talking about?" Connor clarifies.

"Connor McHockey. People are calling you the next Sidney Crosby. What do you think of that?" She asks him, shoving her microphone closer to his face.

He looks uncomfortable and takes a small step back. "Sidney Crosby has always been an idol to me. It is an honor to be considered the next Sidney Crosby. However, I am not the next Sidney Crosby. I am not the next anybody. I am Connor McDavid and I hope to inspire many others to play hockey and be an example for them."

"Okay that's all! Thank you!" a security guard yells over the ruckus. I watch all of the reporters leave from my spot, leaning against the wall in the corner. I look down at the ground and switch my weight from my left to my right leg and cross my left foot over my right, my left shoulder leans up against the white cement wall. Two hands grab my shoulders and pull me into a hug.

"Babe," I recognize the voice: Connor.

"You did great tonight Connor," I respond as I wrap my arms around his freshly showered body; his wet hair drips down and leaves a few wet spots on my sweater as he pulls away.

I look up and see a smile spread across his face. "Thanks (Y/N). I played better than I hoped too. Especially with my shoulder. It's been bugging me lately," Connor says as he rolls his right shoulder twice.

I place my hand on his shoulder and rub my thumbs over it, his hands rest on my sides. "I'm glad you wore my number tonight babe," he says, leaning down and kissing my nose. I can't help but smile and blush as he brings his left hand up to my face.

"Get a room!" Ryan Nugent-Hopkins yells from across the room.

"We are in a room," Connor states before he kisses me, this time on the lips.

"A different room!" he yells again. "EW!"

"Shut up," Connor yells over his shoulder at Ryan. "Babe, I'm gonna get my stuff and then we can go. Okay?" he says to me as he rubs his thumb over my cheek.

"Okay," I smile as I bite my bottom lip, a habit I got from my aunt. "I'll meet you outside?" I ask him as I look into his brown eyes.

"Okay beautiful," Connor grins as he removes his arms from around me. I let go of him and put my hair behind my ears as I walk out of the dressing room and into the hallway.

Before I shut the door I hear some laughs and Connor yell, "Hey! That's my girl! I'm the only one that gets to talk about her like that!" I wait outside in the hallway, my back leaning against the wall as I wait for Connor. I pull out my phone and check my text messages as Connor is taking longer than I thought he would. A few minutes later he walks back out dressed back in his suit. "Sorry Babe. The guys were distracting me. Let's go home," Connor says as he wraps his arm over my shoulders after I walk up to him.

"Okay C," I respond smiling as I look up at my boyfriend. We walk out to Connor's car before he walks me over to the passenger side, opening the door for me. "Thanks," I tell Connor as he shuts the door behind me. He jogs back over to the driver's side before getting in.

"Do we have food at home?" Connor asks as he pulls out of the parking lot.

"Umm depends what you had in mind," I respond as look out onto the road as he moves down the city streets towards our apartment.

"I was thinking Chinese," Connor says winking at me. I just roll my eyes and laugh. If you don't know, Connor really likes Chinese food. (AUTHOR'S NOTE: I don't know if he actually likes Chinese food this is just purely from a fictional stand point).

"Of course," I respond. "Let's stop by that Chinese take out place that you love and get some food," I offer.

Connor smiles at me from the driver's seat. "This is one of the very many reasons why I love you (Y/N/N)."

I blush and respond, "I love you too Con."

We pull up to the restaurant and Connor parallel parks the car outside the restaurant on the street. "Babe?" Connor says as I rest my hand on the door handle.

"Yeah?" I ask as I turn my head to look at him.

He turns his head to face me. "Thank you," he states.

"For what?" I ask confused. What does he have to thank me for?

"For always being here for me. I want you to know that I love you. I love you so much that I am so overprotective of you the guys make fun of me for it. I want you to know that I appreciate everything you do for me from you making me my pre-game meal to going out with me after my games for Chinese food," Connor explains as he waves his hand at the restaurant outside my window. "I hope that you see how much you mean to me," Connor says quietly under his breath as he looks back down at his hands.

"Awe Babe," I say affectionately. "Of course I do. I would do anything for you. I love you so much. I love you probably more than you love me," I state, a grin on my lips as I look at his hands in his lap.

"That's not possible," Connor states as he shakes his head chuckling.

"You sure about that?" I respond laughing.

"Let's agree to disagree Beautiful," Connor says as he puts his right hand on my left thigh.

"Okay. Let's go get your Chinese food," I smile back at Connor.

"Okay," Connor agrees as he lets go of my thigh and uses his other arm to open his car door.

So my Wild lost *tears turning into sobs* this season will be interesting. However, I am currently watching the overtime between the Pens and the Caps and OMG it is so competitive.

Anyways. Hope you enjoyed it!
