"Are you almost ready to go Y/N/N? If we don't leave soon we are going to be late for the flight," William yells through the apartment to me."I'm coming! Sorry I lost track of time," I respond as I rush down the hallway with my backpack on my back and my duffle bag on my shoulder.
"It's okay babe," he says as he wraps his arm around my shoulders as I come up to him. "Let's go." He walks us out the door before locking the door behind us. We walk to the car and Will puts my suitcase in the trunk next to his suitcase as I hang up my dress in the backseat. I get in the passenger seat while Will gets in the drivers seat. We buckle our seat belts before Will asks, "are you ready to go? Are we forgetting anything?"
"Nope," I answer shaking my head. "If we have the clothes, shoes, and our suitcases, phones... I think that's it. Oh! The wedding gift. Did you buy something for them?" I ask suddenly concerned that I forgot to get Will's cousin a wedding gift.
"I had my mom buy something for her for us so we didn't have to worry about shipping or packing it," Will tells me.
"That's really smart babe," I respond smiling at his forethought.
"Thanks Y/N/N. So we're good to leave?" He asks for confirmation.
"Yup. We are good to go," I answer him as Will pulls the car out of the parking spot and out on the road on the way to the airport.
We listen to music as we head to the airport. Will grabs my hand as we get closer to the airport. He looks over at me quickly, only taking his eyes off of the road for a second, and smiles. "What?" I ask Will, a smile appearing on my face, mirroring his.
"Nothing," he answers, his smile spreading from ear to ear as he chuckles quietly.
"Come on, what is it babe?" I laugh as he pulls into a parking spot in the airport parking garage.
"I'm just glad that you are coming with me. It means a lot that you would fly this far for someone you don't know," Will answers as he gets out of the car. He pulls our suitcases out of the back as I follow suit.
"Babe," I say, resting my hand on his bicep as he hands me the handle of my suitcase. "I would do anything for you."
"I love you," he tells me before he leans forward and kisses my forehead.
"I love you too, Will," I respond smiling, running my fingers up and down his arm as he hugs me with his other arm. "Now let's go get on that plane!" I exclaim as I break out of our hug and grab the handle of my bag. We check our bags, make it through security and to our gate before anyone recognizes Will.
"Excuse me sir?" a little boy asks Will after he walked up to him slowly, his dad watching off to the side. "Mr. Nylander, would you mind signing my hat please?" he asks, looking up at Will, a hat and sharpie held in his small hands.
"Of course I can buddy," Will responds, grabbing the boy's hat and sharpie. "Do you want a picture too?"
"Yes please!" the boy exclaims excitedly as Will put his hat on the boy's head. Will turns to the boy's dad and poses for a picture, placing his hand on the boy's shoulder and crouching down to the boy's height. "Thank you Mr. Nylander!" the boy thanks.
