A/n hello everybody, I know this chapter is incredibly late but I have been working on it for so long and it is a lot longer and emotional then most chapters, this chapter also gives some closer to a few things from older chapters so if you feel lost just reread chapters 25 and 16.
That's it, I hope you'll enjoy this chapter-

Dan traced Phil's jaw line with the pad of his finger, Phil's eyes were closed and his head was tilted back against the coach, his chest moved up and down slowly and steadily. Dan smiled as he looked at Phil's features, he wondered what Phil was thinking about.

Dan readjusted his place on Phil's lap so he could rest against his chest more comfortably, he took Phil's large hand in his much smaller one and played with Phil's fingers.

The room was silent besides the soft hum of the air conditioner and the crackling of the vanilla candle which was placed on the small table before them and spread a nice scent through the entire apartment. When Phil came in and placed the candle on the coffee table Dan chuckled and asked if it was a house warming present but Phil just rolled his eyes and lit the three white wicks with a black lighter he had in his leather jacket.

And now that the sweet vanilla scent flowed through the apartment Dan understood why Phil brought the candle along, for some reason it had an extremely relaxing affect on Dan and changed the vibe in the apartment. Dan hoped Phil would let him keep it as he imagined it would have a good affect on him when he was feeling stressed. Knowing Phil it shouldn't be a problem to convince him, all Dan has to do it to say please and Phil would be out the door looking for whatever Dan wanted.

Sometimes Dan wondered how Phil knew all these ways to relax him, most people, even if they care about people who have similar problems to Dan, don't really know what to do and what to say, but Phil seemed like an expert on the subject.

Fingers weaved through Dan's soft curl and rubbed his sculpt gently, tugging the hair ever so slightly. Dan leaned back into Phil's firm chest, he had never even noticed he leaned forward and stared at the way the lit wick's fire danced up, down, left and right when little gusts of wind flew out of the AC.

"Do you remember that story I told you?" Phil asked, his left hand untangling some of Dan's hair gently.

  "What story?"

"The one about the rude prince and the poor boy"

Dan bit his lip in concentration, trying to remember

"When you were drunk"

Dan blushed "Oh, yeah, I really liked it. You never finished it though"

"Do you want me to finish it?"

"Yes" Dan answered excitedly

"Okay, should I make us some hot coco first?"

"Defiantly yes"

Phil smiled, Dan was eating and drinking a lot more in the past two weeks, and was gaining bit of weight already.
sure, there were some rough days, but Phil was always there to talk him through it. On one day, that was particularly hard, Phil said that Dan was making baby steps and even if it seems like nothing was happening, baby steps are better than not moving at all. That stuck with Dan and he would remind it to himself when he felt bad.

"up we go" Phil said as he lifted Dan off his lap and placed him on the couch, he was still very light.

Dan pouted "I was comfy" he complained

Phil chuckled and kissed Dan's pouting lips "I can't make us hot coco while sitting on the sofa"

"I should have thought about that before saying yes"
