~Thella~

I swung my leg towards his face. He did the classic counter: he seized my leg and attempted to slam me back to the ground. Twisting in his grip, I smacked his face with my left leg. Lukas released me, staggering back. I landed on me knees, hard, so I placed a hand down to steady myself. Lukas had some experience in weaponless combat so he was teaching me in that area as well.

I stood up, planting my feet in the ground. Lukas was ready for another attack, it seemed. Before I could move, his hands darted forward and gripped my forearms and swiftly yanked them upward slightly behind my head, stepping forward as he did so. He leaned onto his left foot and his right he flung to my face. I jumped, using Lukas's grip to prevent me from falling and kicked his rib with both feet right as his foot connected. Because of my sudden raise, he only hit the side on my chest, but having the body of a preteen girl... well, I wasn't sure if I saved any pain.

Lukas release my left hand and stepped behind my, pulling my arm down as he did so. I held back a cry of pain. I tried to turn so he wasn't pulling my arm behind me, but he merely stepped with me. I swiveled and grabbed the arm that held mine like a vise. Again, I tried to kick his face with my feet, this time aiming for the nose. Lukas put out his spare hand, shoving my legs back at me. I hardly had time to jerk away my head so it didn't break my nose.

Abruptly, Lukas let go of my arm, taking advantage of my weaken grip. I plummeted. As I fell, I put my hands underneath me, though I still had my back to the ground. Ignoring the stabbing pain in my wrists when I landed, I pushed away with my arms, creating enough momentum to slam my feet into his knees, causing him to fall on his back. I scrambled up, ready to continue.

"ROMANS!!!" Reyna screamed. "THERE IS AN ATTACK! SIX O' CLOCK FROM HERE! MOVE OUT!!"

I whirled around to see Reyna riding away on Scipio, dozens of Romans following, some not even completely dressed in armor.

"Get your knives and you sword. Leave the armor." Lukas snapped, grabbing his own set of knives that had been discarded for the practice session. I did as instructed and dashed after the Romans.

"What kind of attack?" I asked Lukas as we ran.

"I don't-" He stopped dead in his tracks. I looked up to where his eyes stared.

"Oh." I whispered.

"Chimeras." Reyna snarled.

"Tactic Diamond." Lukas instructed.

I nodded. "Far right."

"Go."

I drew both my knives and prepared for Tactic Diamond.

~Hestia~

Athena, Hephaestus, Artemis, Aphrodite, Hera, Zeus, and I stood in front of the scene projected in Olympus.

"She and Lukas aren't half bad. They have taken down two chimera's alone." I observed.

Zeus wasn't so approving. "She shouldn't have help. This Lukas won't help her later."

"You don't know that." Aphrodite contradicted. "He could."

"I doubt it." Hera speculated. "He is just training her."

"She should learn how to fight as a team and alone. Even we don't know if anyone will join her." Artemis murmured.

"Three now." Athena announced as another chimera turned to dust.

"Why did you want to me to make so many? I made two dozen, as requested, but I think it's a little much." Hephaestus asked Zeus.

Zeus didn't even glance at him. "I need to test her abilities."

"We need to test her abilities." Athena corrected.

"Yes. We." Zeus waved a dismissive hand.

I winced and Thella sliced off a goat head. "Those knives will be filthy when she is finished with those things."

Artemis shrugged. "Weapons are normally filthy after a fight with monsters."

Hermes tentatively walked in. "Um, not to interrupt but... the other camp noticed the fight.
