~Hestia~

I could feel the girls presence the first night the man electrocuted me. She didn't stay long. Honestly, I couldn't blame her. It's hard to watch anyone be tortured, whether you knew them or not.

Heavy footsteps. The man pretending to be Zeus must be back.

"Hello Hestia. Have decided to tell the truth? Or should I have some fun?" The man, still looking like Zeus, hefted the bucket of lightning bolts.

I was silent. Declaring my innocents hadn't worked last night. Might as well give the guy the silent treatment.

"Fine. Which bolt should I use this time?"

I remained silent.

The man withdrew a bolt and prepared to attack.

~Thella~

I woke up at three in the morning. I was panting.

I didn't know much about Zeus, but I didn't think he was that cruel. I shook my head. He is a god. They work in ways that make absolutely no sense to anyone but themselves.

I laid back down but tried not to sleep. Naturally, I did. And naturally, I went on a ba trip.

I resisted for a while. I didn't want to have to see Hestia hurt again. At last, I gave up. But I didn't go back to the cave.

I was at a building... the Wolf House? A wolf appeared in front of me. I tried to restrain my fear and panic, but the wolf probably saw right through me.

Hello, Thellanaklea. I am Lupa. The wolf wasn't exactly talking, but I could understand her.

"Wha-what? Who are you? How can you talk? Where am I? Who is Thellanaklea?" I demanded.

The wolf--Lupa-- seemed to sigh. I told you. I am Lupa, you are at the Wolf House, and you are Thellanaklea. Now listen, so I can help you on your quest.

"My quest? What are you talking about?" I was going to say more but Lupa growled at me.

Be quiet. She ordered. Now, you need to leave the Twenty-first Nome tonight. Don't tell anyone of your departure. Flee to the nearest forest. Romans will find you. Tell them you are a child of Pluto. You came from Lupa, and she cannot assist them in their war.

I wasn't sure why, but I trusted her. "Leave, go to the forest, find Romans, I am a child of Pluto, I came from you, and you can't assist in their war." I recited.

Good. Remember, you must convince a girl named Reyna. It doesn't matter if Octavian doesn't believe, as long as Reyna does.

I nodded.

Excellent. Now, awake!

I woke up quickly. I reviewed everything Lupa told me in head while I collected my things. I didn't bring much, a backpack, three pairs of sturdy clothes, one pair of magicians clothes, a jacket, a flashlight, food and water bottles.

Now, how would I leave without sounding the alarm?
