Chap. 20 Home...

they went home, everyone was anxious. Joan was getting mild headaches. Joan "alright. great." they all went in side.when they got inside they all sraight to the nursery. Red and Liz placed the babies in there crib. and kept an eye on them. Liz "well this has been an  exhausting couple of hours. I say we sleep." Joan " yes. I agree. Let's go Abe." Abe "alright. Good red. Good night L-." Joan pulled him out of the room before he could finish his sentence.  Hellboy "night Abe." Liz "night?" They were now in her room. Abe "what's going on with you?" Joan "I just... want you to... myself." Joan smiled and bit her lip. Abe "oh really?" Joan "u huh." Abe "well come here i have surprise for you." Joan "and what is that I wonder." Joan moving closer. Abe "well, you'll just have to find out." She giggled. They kissed. Joan pulls away. Joan, "I'm going to change, into something more, comfortable." Abe, "I'll be right here." Abe stood by the bed as Joan went into her closet. After a while he decided to sit. Joan was in her closet changing from her work clothes to her night time clothes. She picked a grey sweat shirt with black sweat pants and left the closet. Abe was looking at the ground. Joan snuck around the bed, went up behind Abe and said "boo." jumping onto the bed. Abe jumped startled. Joan laughed. Joan, "I scared you good." She continued to laugh. Abe, "you didn't scare me. You startled me." Joan, "uh-huh. Sure." Abe, " you did. You startled." Joan, "well, anyway, I'm going to be right back." Abe, "where you going?" Joan, "I have a splitting headache and desperately need aspirin." Abe, "by the way you act, I would have never guessed that you have a headache." Joan, "I know. I'm just that good at hiding my emotions." She walked over to her desk and opened her drawer. She pulled out a bottle of aspirin and took some. She then put the bottle back and walked over to Abe. Abe, "feel better." Joan, "nope. Aspirin helps sometimes but not all the time." Abe, "here let me see what's causing your headache." He said holding out his hand. Joan, "alright, Dr. Abraham." She gave him her hands. He saw and gasped. Joan, "w-what? What is it?" Abe, "your head hurts because your brain is trying to connect it's self with some sort of new powers." Joan, "huh. This process usually happens a lot earlier. Ah." Joan put her hand to her head. Abe, "process? What process?" Joan, "the last time I had to go there the whole new powers thing this what happened. Mild headaches, but after, I'd just... I'd just." Abe "Joan, are you alright?" Joan " maybe. I don't know. I feel just feel a little light headed." her trailed away. Abe "are you alright?" Joan " I think... I think..." Abe "Joan? Joan!" Joan then fainted. Abe caught her before for she could hit the ground. Abe " Joan! Joan!" Red heard Abe from the other room. Red told Liz "I'll be back in second." Red then ran into the room. Red " what happened?" Abe " I don't know. she just passed out." Red " here let's get her in the bed." Red helped Abe place on the bed...
