The New Recuit (Abe love story)

Chap. 18 A surprise...

Abe had finally kissed Joan. And they both knew they were falling for each other. And hard.

Joan was so shocked that at first she thought it was all a dream. When she realized that she was in reality she kissed Abe back.

As they kissed with true passion someone had randomly barged in the room. They were so lost in each other, they hadn't even noticed. "Guys-! Whoa." They stopped and looked. It was Red. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?" Joan, "what is it?" Red was about to speak but was interrupted by a loud scream coming from the other room. Abe, "what was that?" Red, "it's Liz.-" Joan, "Liz!? Is she alright?" Red, "no she's going into labor!" Abe and Joan, "what?!" Abe, "we have to leave now!" Joan "get Liz to the van we'll get it started." Red, "alright." They rushed out of the room. Joan and Abe ran to the van and started it. Abe opened the door and waited for them. Red helped Liz to the van. Abe closed the door and they drove off.

they finally got there and two of the doctors prepared Liz for the birthing. one of the doctors went up to Abe. doc " sir. we're missing a few of the doctors right now." Abe "what? where are they?" doc " all sick." Abe " just great. how many doctors. do we have left?" doc " me you and David in the other room..." Abe " Red I need you to help." Red " me. oh no I can't." Abe " look you won't need to do something major. just stand by Liz." Red " alright." he went to change. Joan " I've been in a little bit of medical school. I can help." Abe " are you sure?" Joan "positive." Abe " okay." Joan went to change also. they all meet back in the surgory room and started. it took hours but finally they both finally came out. one boy and one girl. they had fraternal twins. they named the girl Lee and the boy Hellboy Jr. they came up with nicknames, Hellboy Jr. went to Red Jr. to RJ. and well Lee is it's own name. Abe handed both of them to Liz. Liz "they're beautiful." Red " yea they are." Joan and Abe watched as they saw there new kids for the first time. Joan looked at Abe and smiled. Joan then walked over to were Abe was standing and she grabbed his hand and held it. he held hers. he looked at her smiled. they both went to looking at the two new kids. Abe then walked to Liz and asked to take them to the other room to rest. but took a moment and she then handed them to Abe. he went to the next room with the two in his arms. he came back. Joan "how are they?" Abe "good. there perfectly healthy. so... good." Joan "that's good. is Liz going to stay here?" Abe " she won't be here long.and I will check on her to make sure she's okay. and see if the kids are ready to go with us. if not they'll stay another night here." Joan " oh. are you staying?" Abe "I'm not sure yet. uh. you still have your mask on." Joan "oh. thanks." she then pulled the mask off her face. Abe " but what about you? are you staying." Joan "I want to keep Liz some company. so sure." Abe "oh." Joan " yea. I mean I know the feeling of being alone. it's gets pretty boring." Abe "wow. you never seem alone a lot." Joan "oh. I am... I usually just try to occupy myself." Abe "well now you won't have to be alone. you got us." Joan smiled and liked the thought of not being alone when she didn't won't be. she liked having company. a person to talk to. Joan " well tell me when you make up your mind. if your staying or going." Abe " actually I think I will stay here with you and Liz for a while." Joan " great. you know the old saying. the more the merrier." they both laughed. Joan "okay. let's see what there up to in there." Abe "okay." they both walked. Joan "hey. what's going on?" Red "just talking." Joan "hey Liz. how do you feel?" Liz "good." Joan " that's good."...
