Chap. 15 Where am I ...

Hours later Joan heard a bunch of people. all chatting and shouting. she wondered if this was a dream or if this was real? she tried her hardess to open her eyes. she opened them slightly. and saw a lot of people. It's happening all over again. she thought it was just a dream. but then she noticed something. something is missing. Her brother isn't calling her name and she didn't feel her wrists tied. she opened her eyes all the way this time. her eyes where a lighter shade of blue, but after the day they changed. she looked around. it looked like the same people from last time. but she could already hear there thoughts. one of them " she's in great shape." another one "perfect brown hair." another "unnatural Blue eyes, but beautiful." another "fantastic body." another "and whoa sexy." Joan blushed in embarrassment. she looked and tried to find her wrists. they were strapped in with metal clamps and her ankles. she looked next to her hands and found out she was in some sort of container. she moved her head forward and hit her head on glass. she looked around and tried to look for Abe and Red. no sign. she then got a headache from the chloroform. the headache ended quickly. so she decided to break out. then a spot light turned on and pointed up. it was her dad in a room above them with glass to see him. he says " hello again daughter." Joan " hello Dan." she wasn't going to him dad ever again after what he did to her. so she would call him by his name. to piss him off. Dan " I'm your father. remember." Joan " you were my father. not any more." Dan " don't worry. I have a surprise for you. but first if you don't mind... ladies and gentleman the same girl from years ago. has come back to join us again for another experiment. and don't worry I know if it will kill you or not. okay?" she didn't answer. "this will give her the power to use anothers powers and use it for her own purpose. this will give her the ability to pick things up with her mind. now..." Joan got her one hand free and the spot light immediately went to her. a metal claw and arm grabbed her arm and placed it back in the clamp and another repaired the clamp so she wouldn't just get out again. she gasped in shock. Dan laughed. Joan "what's so funny, huh?" Dan "you really thought, you were going to get away that easy." he continued laughing. then the people laughed. Dan "oh. sweet heart, I'm not letting you get away this time." Joan " oh yea. well I have people that will be searching for me nonstop. and when they find me. you'll be sorry." he laughed again. Joan "what's so funny now?" Dan " you-you remember that surpise? yea?" doors opened to reveal two men holding Red and Abe. "I got your friends. their here to join the party." she looked at them both. Abe "Joan!" Joan "Abe! Red! no!" she looked back at Dan "your a monster." Dan "no. you and your friends are monsters. I'm normal." Joan "leave them alone. you can take me. if you let them go." Abe "no Joan. we are staying." Red "we are?" Abe gave red a look. red "I mean... we are." Joan "Abe please you don't need to get involved in this mess." Abe "but I already am." they smile at each other. Dan "oh that's just too cute." Joan "what now?" Dan "remember the first time I gave the power of mind reading?" Joan "yea. and why bring it up?" Dan "because when you left. there was just enough left for one more person." Joan " no!"...
