Joan " I'm fine." Abe " are you sure? you seem unsure of something." Joan " I just hope I'll be able to control it. I mean what if it gets out of hand. I just can't imagine what I'd do if I hurt you or others. I just couldn't live with my self." Abe " hey everything's going to be fine." he lift Joan's head so she would see him. Abe " you know why?" Joan " why?" Abe " because I'm here... for you." Joan smiled. Joan " and I need you with me." Abe smiled. Joan " I remember the first time I tried to control my powers. my brother was there to help me..." Abe " really?" Joan " yep... those were some good times. I miss him." Abe " what's it's like... to have siblings?" Joan, "it's many things. Sometimes it can be a pain in the... well you know. And sometimes it can be fun. But mainly there family and you love them." Abe, "oh." Joan "yea. Well, they're there when you need them most." Abe "I would have only guessed, with my experience with red." Abe " alright let's get some sleep. we'll need to get up a little early." Joan " alright. and this time I'll actually sleep." they both laughed. Abe got up and walked to the door. he stopped and turned. Joan " Abe I was wondering if you stay in here and sleep with me. I mean not sleep with me. no that would inappropriate. I mean just sleep in here. oh God." she blushed. Abe " Joan." Joan " yes. " Abe " I'll sleep here." Joan " okay." Joan then thought to herself 'wow that was awkward. why would I say that?' Joan " we need other bed. don't we?" Abe " would you you feel comfortable if we got another bed?" Joan " ooorr... or we could... share... the same... bed." she said slowly walking toward him. Abe " I like that idea better." they both smiled and blushed. Joan " well, I'm going to get ready for bed." Abe " go a head I'll go and get ready also." Joan " you know I don't mean..." Abe " of course..." he lifted his hand. " I know." Joan smiled and chuckled. she over to her closet and pulled out her sleep wear. Abe went to his room and did the same. she finished getting dressed. she was now wearing her loose long slave grey shirt with jeans. Abe came back also dressed. Joan " I thought you were going to wear your breathing apparatus." Abe " no." Joan " but you can't go long without water." Abe " I can go long enough." Joan " will you be alright?" Abe " of course." Joan " are you sure?" Abe " positive." Joan " okay." they both got into Joan's bed and under the covers. Abe " I was wondering... why you wanted me here?" Joan " I know it sounds silly... but I'm a little... scared." Abe " what are you scared of ?" Joan " well... I just... don't want to be alone right now. I just don't want something to happen." Abe " oh, well I'm here and I'm not going anywhere." Joan smiled. Joan " good night Abe." Abe " good night Joan." she then turned over and turned off the light. and they went to bed. hours later Joan started turning over and over and over each side. Abe woke up. he touched Joan's arm and she stopped. she became completely still. she then moved closer to Abe. he rapped his arm around her and they both spooned for the rest of the night...
